We recently had an unfortunate experience with this hotel that left us disappointed. A day after making our reservation, we received news of a family member's critical condition and imminent passing. We promptly reached out to the hotel to discuss our cancellation options under these exceptional circumstances. The hotel informed us that they would charge 80% of the booking amount. They did, however, offer a 50% voucher valid until November 3rd, which was appreciated. When we later contacted the hotel to use the voucher for a stay from October 31st to November 3rd, we were informed that it could not be applied for stays shorter than four nights, even though the website allowed direct booking. This condition was not disclosed to us at the time of receiving the voucher, adding to our frustration. Ultimately, we paid for a room that we could not use, and when we tried to redeem the voucher, unexpected conditions were imposed without prior notice. We feel the hotel acted unfairly and without transparency. We were eager to visit the hotel but, given the circumstances, we are unlikely to choose this hotel in the future.
