Sai Palace Grand, Malad

We had made a prepaid booking through Agoda, sent them messages earlier but no replies, on arrival they refused to acknowledge the booking and made my wife wait for over 30 minutes, behaving rudely and showing a lot of attitude. They did a huge favour by allotting a their WORST room and did not like that we booked through Agoda. Disgusting hotel and pathetic staff(***ager). Even the ***agement does not care. Requested Agoda to shift us to a better hotel but they dont entertain complaints just like the hotel. This is the checkin experience, waiting for the stay and checkout experience.

***y issues with the hotel. Eater logging in bathroom. The tap fell off. Post cleaning the, the house keeping staff just threw my my clothes onto the sofa ( picture attached). In the other hotels like portico, they would neatly fold the clothes and keep them in a proper place. To top it off, i was sick and vomiting and the room service guy who bought me the medicine ( and saw me vomiting) instead of asking I needed help asked me for a tip. Wow

This the best place everything food , room but I want to share that I left my Amazon kindle in their locker , it was fairly my mistake and locker was opened , but due to attentiveness , honesty of staff I found my kindle . Hats off the staff the on their willingness to go out of the box to help their customer I recommend everyone to visit once and then you always want to go back to hotel …

We stayed for just a night and were overall happy with our stay. Room was clean, we stayed in an executive room. The room had a massage chair as an added bonus and that was good to use after a full day out on the town. We had a major scare when I realized the morning after that the previous night I had lost my wallet - most likely in the Uber cab. When we finally were able to reach the cab driver, he said he noticed that it had slipped out while I was getting down from the cab and that the hotel staff had picked it up. After speaking to the hotel, they made enquiries and finally were able to locate the guard who was on duty and he had placed it in the valet podium. I was so pleased to have found the wallet with everything intact! It was stressful because the guard did not inform anyone and so it took time to find it. But thankfully due to the cab driver and the hotel, we found it back. On the negative side, the bathrooms although nice, had problems with both the toilet flush and the shower drain. The drain was almost fully blocked and water ran out all over the bathroom. Breakfast was a large spread but average, my opinion may be biased because I was quite stressed about the wallet at the time and in no mood to eat. All in all, we were satisfied and would stay there again.

Worst experience!!!!!!! Don't waste your money, you can save money in nearby hotels, or you could pay 1 or 2k and get best hotel in andheri west or east Cleanliness I would rate 0 Not polite They just need someone who can pay double for tiny room...

Good place for wedding receptions. The venue on 2 floors accommodates around 150 to 200 guests. The decor was well designed and arranged. The veg layout was exceptional. Great service and helpful ***ager. Dinesh gave us a good deal and made valuable suggestions on the food menu.

Daughters' marriage celebrations and parties on 18th and 19th November 2022 with multiple guests staying in the hotel right from the 1st arrival on 13th to the last departure on 22nd, bulk stayover was 17th to 20th. Excellent food quality and spreads, a little spicy though. Breakfast spread is satisfactory with live counters, but non-veg variety is just one, got Italian grilled chicken both days and was too spicy. Even arrangements well organized and ***aged by the hotel staff. Very courteous staff and very cooperative. Fair discounts offered due to bulk booking.

Dear ***agement team, I stayed on the 19th of August for two nights with my family. My stay was more one of the best stay. When I arrived, the hotel's happy concierge team welcomed us with a warm smile and directed us to the hotel reception. Our luggage was delivered to the room while we are checking in. The room was large in size, comfortable bed, a choice of pillows available. The bathroom was clean with a selection of toiletries. We loved the food they served in the restaurant, all restaurant teams are friendly, and always available nearby if you need it. There are no restaurants close to this level of food and service. It was packed full on both nights. Following morning breakfast was nice, good choice of items i.e. freshly made and Doosa (Chef prepare in front of you) , Idle, Wada, selection of serial, Juice. All in all it was a great stay for us. we highly recommend for anyone travelling abrod.

Some suggestions: 1.The room telephone was not functioning due a loose telephone cord .This could have been checked before allotting the room. 2.Very disturbing sound from the room above ie: #511 which was clearly heard in the late hours of the night/ until next morning. 3.Vibrating sounds of the glass panes/ windows could be felt in the silence of the night. 4.The restaurant staff were quite prompt but they seemed quite inflexible probably for lack of empowerment at their level.Several attempts to engage with the chef were made futile by the reluctant restaurant staff. 5.I must appreciate the efforts of Maryam Chunawala for her patience,understanding & her efficient ***ner in dealing with our booking.She was most kind .Richard at the front Desk was also very polite & helpful. 6.Alam the restaurant staff was quite helpful for organising the lunch without any spicy element due to the tonque challenge for one of us. 7.I think if a guest has a tonque problem & he expects that staff in other areas be made aware of his eating difficulties.Such information after repeated visits did not seem to have been passed on. 8..The gardens or plants were very well chosen out side the guest rooms but on all days the empty sugar sachets in the pots were not noticed & cleaned by the HK staff. 9.Mosquitoes could be a problem if the door is left open for a long time. 10.The HK staff was not trained to the functioning of the ac controls in the guest rooms. 11.The wifi operational cycle was on 24 hour basis & had to be reset.It was a cumbersome affair. 12..The room keys were also to be recharged. 13.When requested for a takeway item during bfast the same was politely declined by the staff. 14. I would highly recomment this particular hotel for its very dynamic location,good service staff & very tasty food.
