"We recently stayed at The Serai Kabini for our anniversary celebration, and it turned out to be one of the most relaxing holidays we’ve had in a long time. From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, the entire experience was warm, peaceful, and beautifully managed. A special appreciation to Mr. Saleem Mr.Praveen and his team for organizing everything so well and making our anniversary truly memorable. The hospitality throughout the resort was exceptional, and every staff member was courteous, attentive, and always presentable. The housekeeping team did an excellent job maintaining the room and surroundings perfectly throughout our stay. The buggy service was always on time and very convenient, especially while traveling around the property with our 18-month-old daughter. The spa experience was wonderful and deeply relaxing. We also enjoyed the boating activity, and the boat driver was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant staff Mr. Rakesh Mr. Mithun and chefs deserve special mention for their outstanding service and delicious food. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Dining by the serene surroundings made the experience even more special. Another thing that stood out was how beautifully the property is maintained. The gardeners have done an amazing job keeping the resort lush, clean, and scenic, which added so much charm to the entire stay. Most importantly, our little daughter enjoyed the trip so much, which made the vacation even more memorable for us as a family. Overall, this was a perfect anniversary getaway filled with relaxation, great hospitality, excellent food, and unforgettable memories. "My stay at Jal Mahal Resort was deeply disappointing. Upon waking up, I discovered rat droppings in the room, which is completely unacceptable for any accommodation. Additionally, the housekeeping services were inadequate and did not meet basic standards of cleanliness and efficiency. The behavior of the hotel staff was also troubling, as they were consistently rude and disrespectful throughout our stay. Furthermore, the resort’s policy of demanding full payment on the day of check-in felt unreasonable and added to the overall negative experience. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this resort based on my visit."

"Accueil très sympathique. On doit assister d'office à la projection d'un Powerpoint pour expliquer le fonctionnement du lodge. Il semble qu'on était les seuls étrangers du lodge (et il n'y a pas grand monde au total). On a l'impression d'être connus comme le loup blanc. L'hôtel est très calme et le fait que les chambres soient dans des cottages séparés ajoute à la grande tranquillité. On a droit le matin au chant des oiseaux. Chambre assez grande, vaste salle de bains. Pas luxueux mais propre. Après les "danses folkloriques" facultatives-obligatoires (du moins le week-end) diner sous forme de buffet. Pas mal de plats locaux (pour les locaux) mais nous sommes arrivés à trouver de quoi nous restaurer. Plutôt bon finalement, y compris le dessert (qui ne nous a pas trop perturbé la digestion). Le vin, pas extraordinaire, est au tarif français ! Un Safari terrestre était proposé. On s'est levés avant 5h, on a eu super froid dans le camion sans vitres et on n’a rien vu comme faune ou presque. Vraiment pas terrible. Le petit déjeuner local est un peu bizarre mais on trouve de quoi se sustenter. Crêpes de riz faites à la demande, pas mauvais."

"The resort is large with individual cottages and dorm rooms (8-20 people multiple dorms). It has decent size swimming pool, rope/indoor activities, rain dance, bonfire, bar and restaurant. There is also a free river cruise in the evening with hot Bajjis, coffee/tea right on 50 people capacity boat. The food is huge spread with freshly prepared Dosas, omelette, Rotis, Obbatu (pooran poli), Jelabis right at time of breakfast/lunch/dinner. Good for family gatherings, ladies/ guys trip."
