J'ai voyagé en famille et comparé plusieurs hôtels avant de choisir celui-ci. Il était parfait : propre, d'un bon rapport qualité-prix et agréable même sans fenêtres. Calme la nuit, la climatisation chauffait rapidement et le Wi-Fi était excellent et stable. L'emplacement était également idéal ; le temple de Confucius et le site pittoresque de Laomendong sont facilement accessibles à pied. La chambre était même équipée de couvre-sièges de toilettes jetables (super !) et de bouteilles d'eau gratuites, une attention très appréciable. Le personnel était très serviable et le ménage était fait rapidement. Ils proposaient même une consigne à bagages gratuite ! Plusieurs grands centres commerciaux se trouvent à proximité, parfaits pour le shopping avec un large choix de restaurants et de bars. Si vous ne souhaitez pas marcher jusqu'au mausolée de Sun Yat-sen, un arrêt de bus direct se trouve juste devant l'hôtel. Les arbres gorgés de pluie au lac Yanque sont absolument magnifiques en cette saison : à voir absolument ! Des bus directs desservent également le palais présidentiel et d'autres attractions, ce qui est très pratique. Pour ce prix, c'est un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Un très bon séjour ! Je recommande vivement !

C'est super, tout est super, les installations, etc. sont super. Cependant, la fenêtre de la chambre près de la fenêtre dans laquelle je séjournais n'était pas fermée et l'odeur de fumée de barbecue était très forte. Cependant, l'hôtel s'en est occupé activement et m'a aidé à vaporiser du déodorant. être fermé à l'avenir. Après tout, comme moi, les clients ayant de mauvaises voies respiratoires peuvent ne pas sentir la fumée. Dans l'ensemble, le rapport qualité/prix est très bon👍👍👍👍

La dame à la réception était très enthousiaste et a fourni un excellent service. Le soir, il est très agréable de savourer un thé et de profiter de la vue depuis la terrasse. Le seul inconvénient est que la chambre n'est pas insonorisée. Si vous vous levez tard le matin, vous entendrez les gens entrer et sortir des autres chambres. L'expérience globale est très bonne. L'hôtel est très pratique, à proximité du site pittoresque. Le temple de Confucius et Laomendong sont accessibles à pied.

A bit too much noise through the walls in the evening and early morning - I believe this was from doors being shut that need slow closing mechanisms to prevent the slamming. Luxury shopping mall around the corner. Underground shopping and food court 500m away, same entrances as metro.

TTinaMThis is the first time I've had an absolutely 10/10 experience with any hotel. This particular hotel also outranks every other Marriott I've ever stayed at. I genuinely could not think of a single negative point. I was only in Nanjing for 2 nights, in town for a meeting, and I'm so glad I chose to stay here.
Firstly, the room is exactly as advertised. Marriott hotels always have the fluffiest pillows, but this particular hotel had the most HEAVENLY pillows. The bed was so comfy that I ended up postponing my day plans just so I could sleep in! I didn't realise how desperately I needed that rest and recuperation, and am glad I chose to stay here and get what I needed. Also, this hotel does not skimp on the water - most hotels will only give you 2 tiny bottles a day, which if it's blazing hot outside, can be frustrating, especially if you want to boil water for tea/coffee in the morning. This hotel provides 4-5 complimentary bottles of water per day. In many ways, I felt like they anticipated what I'd need and would provide it before I even had the chance to ask. There is also an ironing board stowed in the room, which for me was a lifesaver as I had an important meeting.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the location is indeed fantastic. I was so relieved to find that after a long train journey, I only needed to hop on the subway for 1 stop - I didn't even need to exit the building, as the hotel is located inside the mall connected to the subway station.
The breakfast spread is not too bad either, with the highlight for me being the espresso machines. When I tell you this machine delivers the most divine coffee in 10 seconds, I am not kidding. It was one of my favourite things and a great way to kickstart a busy day.
At check-in, the reception staff ensured they gave me all the info I needed. I noticed this is often skipped at other hotels as staff are shy or reluctant to speak in English, which results in foreign guests missing out on relevant info or complimentary perks - but the Marriott team refused to let language be an obstacle. I was glad to learn free snacks and coffee were available in the executive lounge each evening. While I was there, the executive lounge manager - I think her name is Sheila, apologies if I've gotten this wrong - took the time to introduce herself and ask if I needed anything. She was so polite and genuinely seemed to want to improve the experience for guests. To me, these small touches are what set a service-oriented luxury hotel apart from others.
On my first night, I'd arrived pretty exhausted after having sat on a delayed train for hours, and I wanted to order takeaway as I didn't have the energy to go out. They have ******* lockers positioned right at the hotel entrance, which you can unlock with your phone and collect your deliveries. Being a foreigner who doesn't understand Chinese very well, I wasn't sure how to navigate this, but the reception staff went out of their way to help me, ensuring they stayed with me until I'd collected my parcel - it was not at all necessary for them to help me so much, but they did, and I'm very grateful for that :)
I spent the entire month traveling in China and so, looking back, am able to compare all of the hotels and experiences from this trip. This particular hotel ranks 10/10 for me not only because of the location, but also because of the kindness and professionalism of staff. Things can sometimes be confusing or overwhelming for foreigners, and this was the only hotel where staff didn't hesitate to rush in and offer to help, no matter how small the issue. Even the gentleman at the coffee bar in the lobby was so kind and polite - and might I add, everyone at this hotel speaks English, so they really do cater to an international crowd. Housekeeping staff too were very sweet, always greeting you and asking if you needed extra bottles of water.
Thank you for a relaxing, delightful stay! I hope to come again and stay longer next time.

MMaxiaobao送孩子大學報到，選了孩子學校的翰苑賓館住兩天。位於東邊賓館的門報到兩天學生和家長可以隨便進出，充分考慮了我們的需求。
服務很棒，前台小姐姐們都很親切，還送了一個平安香囊。房間很乾凈，送了入住小禮物～牛奶和小零食。大堂還有個咖啡廳，買了杯冰拿鐵，挺好喝的。自助早餐中西結合，選擇性很多。自駕過來可以停在賓館的停車場內。來南京玩的話住在這裏也非常便捷，離鐘山風景區很近。以後來南京看孩子就住這裏了！

LLingrushiLa chambre est très caractérisée, la décoration du vent ancienne est très aimable. Les enfants de la petite maison de bois n'ont pas vécu de super frais. Nous avons un petit jardin et nous pouvons encore faire la barbe dans la cour. Le jour est trop chaud sans eau, et attendre le jour est heureux pour vous rejoindre. Le petit train est le plus aimable des enfants. Il faut s'asseoir, traverser les prairies, les forêts, les loups, et dire que c'est comme s'il s'est entrer dans l'animation du palais. La piscine de nuit est également superbe. À proximité, il se sent aussi une culture non-héritage qui voit des fleurs de fer. Les enfants sont très appréciés, c'est un voyage agréable.

LLuan YeeI am not very pleased with my stay at this hotel. While walking along the corridor to my room, I noticed a smell that was musty and the corridor was heavily deodorised.
When I used the toilet for the first time, it choked and I had to call the reception to send the someone to clear the toilet bowl. The manager Ying Yue told me that I must not throw the toilet paper into the toilet bowl but instead throw it into the dust bin that was beside the toilet bowl. I was flabbergasted because throwing the toilet paper into the dust bin would mean that the toilet would smell of faeces and urine. Now I understand why the corridor has a musty smell and why it must be deodorised to cover the smell.
She said that all hotels in Nanjing had this plumbing problem. I asked her why wasn't there a notice in the toilet to tell guests what to do with the toilet paper after using it. She replied that all local guests know they are not supposed to throw the toilet paper into the toilet bowl and it is the local Nanjing toilet culture.
She also mentioned that the toilet paper Atour provided is extra thick and is not soluble, so that's another reason not to throw the toilet paper into the toilet bowl.
However, she was nice enough to accompany me to the convenience store next door and paid for two packets of ordinary tissue paper.
Another issue I had was the supper provided. It said from 9:30 pm to 11 pm. When we went there on the first night of our stay at 9:40 pm, the rice porridge and millet porridge were totally cold and the 3 types of buns were randomly thrown into two steaming baskets, all mixed up and cold. I asked the young staff why wasn't the buns heated. He couldn't answer. The food didn't look enough to last till 11 pm. On the last night, we went for supper again at 9:30 pm sharp. Both the rice and millet porridge were just lukewarm and I asked the two young staff why wasn't the porridge heated. One of them told me that old and young guests do not like hot porridge. This must be the most absurb statement I have heard about porridge. I think Atour should be more siincere about the supper it offers.
Except for the two young staff at the restaurant, all the other reception staff and cleaning ladies were very polite and helpful.

IInvitéOur trip to Nanjing left us with beautiful memories and a very positive impression. Largely attributable to the very pleasant stay at Swisstouches Hotel. We stayed in the suite from end May to early June.
1. Very clean and comfortable suite - About one of the most comfortable rooms I have had stayed in recent memory. Spacious, clean, well - kept, well - maintained. Reasonably priced. Whole place smelled good, no hint of musky odour, no tobacco smell, children had zero issue with allergy. Sound proofing was great.
I do wish the kitchenette is better equipped with microwave oven, utensils and simple crockery. Not that we cook in the room, but I guess it is more convenient to have simple utensils available in the kitchenette.
2. Courteous, attentive and responsive service - Reception was courteous, patient and reliable. Restaurant staff were obliging and prompt (requests were attended to promptly, room cleaning staff were responsible and detailed. (I accidentally left the Do-Not-Disturb sign on, they left a note reminding me about that, and took the initiative to return in the evening to clean up the room - all without any request from me. I thought of just going letting the room cleaning pass for 1 day). Such conscientious work attitude is hard to come by.
3. Food was hygienic and ample - The buffet breakfast was amply stocked and spread was decent. Not an emperor's feast, but way enough to surpass expectations for most people.
4. Location was decent, safe - The hotel is situated in the outskirts of Nanjing city. So you get the tranquil, but you wont have the hustle and bustle. There are convenience stores and eateries well within a stone's throw. Ride hailing taxis are easily available too. But if you are expecting to walk to the tourist spots, you will have to stay in the heart of the city. I personally prefer a location like Swisstouches' .
5. Facilities - I only tried the swimming pool and gym. Very decent. Good enough for exercise and workouts during travel. Gym was well equipped, albeit a little messy. But that's more of gym users rather than the set-up. Swimming pool was well maintained and monitored at all times. Great for lane swimming.
All in all, fantastic stay. Go back again? Big Yes.

Non seulement son emplacement est idéal, à quelques pas des principaux centres commerciaux, mais la chambre offre également une vue imprenable, vous permettant d'admirer la vie nocturne animée de Xinjiekou. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux, avec des options chinoises et occidentales, et le goût est excellent. Le personnel est sympathique et accueillant, et l'expérience globale est fantastique !

GGrace CallejaMy 82 year old mom, sister and myself booked a 2BR suite at this place for 3nights and 4 days. We were in Nanjing for a leisurely vacation from the Philippines. The place is very unassuming. A modest entrance and lobby but the room, beddings, towels, bathrobes, toiletries and even slippers were top-notch!. Loved the scent of their shampoo and body wash. The suite itself and the rooms were very spacious. Even the toilets are spacious! My mom even chided that it was tiring to walk from one room to the other! The rooms and toilets were equipped with automatic curtains and blinds. Although most of the staff could barely speak any English, everyone was very kind, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast buffet that is packaged with the room stay was also superb! So many choices despite few guests. It was mostly a spread of Chinese dishes but I couldn't ask for more! There is a free laundry room in the building! There is a small convenience store and a Luckin Coffee at the ground floor of the building. It is also very easy to get a taxi just outside the building. Added Bonus: this place is just a few steps away from the famous Librairie Avant-Garde (the IG worthy bookstore). Overall, I love Suning Universal Hotel All-Suites! I highly recommend it to all travelers who plan to visit Nanjing. Attached photo is taken from the ground floor of the hotel.

The hotel is near Dongliu Station, but you need to walk about 3 blocks (15 minutes). The walk is flat, but in July and August it can get very hot, so bring an umbrella. The area is quiet and feels isolated. Although the hotel is not far from Nanjing University Xianlin Campus, there is no direct train, you need to change lines and make an awkward turn. Shared bikes (Hello blue bikes) are convenient in Xianlin, but not around this hotel. A good option is to take the B3 shuttle bus from Sanyang Road, which goes to Nanjing University train station (walking distance to NJU). Around the hotel, you will find small eateries (like chicken and duck rice shops) and a few convenience stores, but no malls.
Cleanliness
The rooms are clean, but there is a smoke smell that stays for about a day. The staff suggested opening the window and using the aircon, but I also bought a reed diffuser from Miniso to make it smell fresher. Bedsheets were changed regularly (every 5 days). The toilet slippers looked dirty, so I did not use them. Also, the hotel does not provide floor towels.
Staff & Service
The staff were very kind and helpful. They upgraded me to a bigger double room with a sofa and work area, and also gave me a cheaper rate since I stayed for 40 nights. Cleaning staff came daily, bringing bottled water and keeping the toilet clean. The night-shift counter staff were also helpful.
Facilities
There is a washing machine that can wash and dry in one cycle. Do not overload it, or clothes won’t dry properly. Since the hotel is not very busy, I could use the machine anytime without queuing. Rooms have a hair dryer and a lighted mirror. The aircon makes a small dripping sound, but it is not a real problem.
Noise
The soundproofing is generally okay, but occasionally you can hear people talking loudly if there are guests next door. It’s not the hotel’s fault—just that people in China often speak very loudly, even inside their rooms or in the corridor. Nothing much you can do about it.
Surroundings & Safety
The area is safe, with big roads and many residential apartments. In the evenings, families with kids and dogs walk around, and I also jogged nearby. Food delivery is easy drivers can bring food to your room or the counter.
Overall
It is a quiet and safe place to stay, with helpful staff and decent facilities. The location is not very convenient for NJU Xianlin Campus, but manageable if you use the shuttle bus.
