"My experience at this inn was great. My daughter Erica and I stayed here overnight August 18-19. First off, we didn’t drive in but there is a free shuttle bus downtown that takes you right to the corner, a few feet away from the inn. Now for the inn itself. It was lovely. We had one of the rooms upstairs with a private bathroom. As soon as you walk into the room you see that it looks like it belongs on an island. It’s done up in a seaside motif with cool and calming tones of blue and white with seashells and the like. Next, but most important, was the cleanliness. You could feel and see the clean. I didn’t even feel a desire to whip out my Lysol wipes and sanitizer. The hosts were so thoughtful. They had complimentary ice cold orange juice in the refrigerator for us along with different kinds of snacks and good coffee. Also complimentary. In the hall there is a microwave and even more snacks. At the front entrance there are some other snacks and drinks that you can pay for at a small price using the honesty system. And yet still there is a free bowl of fruit there also. I’ve arrived at hotels starving and unable to get food immediately. That was not a problem here. They also provided toothbrushes, toothpaste and mouthwash. The good stuff. They also had a variety of streaming services and regular tv. They thought of everything. I slept so good here. If I go back to Nantucket this is where I’ll be staying. I highly recommend this place. FYI-I think the shuttle bus is not going to be free starting in 2026. But even if you have to pay it’s a convenient option if you don’t want to drive. There are shuttles that I believe take you to just about anywhere you want to go on the island."

"Anyone coming to Nantucket for a visit should definitely check out the Nantucket Hotel before any other considerations. I can't believe any other hotel could compare. Location, food, room, gym , pool and the employers could not be beat! The meal was amazing (swordfish) and the dessert (carrot cake) was delicious. Fred could not been more professional as well as friendly!"

Every detail was lovely and the breakfast offerings were plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed the opportunity to rent a Jeep for the duration of our stay. It was a fun way to explore the beaches. "Nous avons lu un réexamen précédent qui a dit que Wauwinet était comme rester chez un ami riche en été. C'est tout à fait exact. Mon mari et moi avons passé quelques jours ici avec un autre couple, et toute l'expérience était relaxante et amusante. Le salon est très confortable et très confortable. La chambre était lumineuse avec la lumière naturelle et bien conçue, avec un décor de New England convivial. La cuisine était excellente et il y avait des touches de bienvenue et de bons ajouts comme le cidre à pomme chaude à midi. port avec fromage le soir, et un café, thé et pâtisseries complimentaires le matin. Je dois féliciter spécialement le gestionnaire, qui était présent tous les jours parmi les invités et était très à la main, amical, et utile. Cette fois de l'année, c'est un peu difficile à Nantucket (comme nous l'avons découvert lors de cette visite), avec beaucoup de magasins et de restaurants déjà fermés pour la saison -- cependant, même si la semaine que nous avons séjourné à Wauwinet était son dernier, Il n'y a pas eu de laxité dans les équipements ou les attitudes de tout le personnel de l'hôtel. Le centre de la ville est très bien situé, mais il est très bien situé dans la ville."

"We had to book a last minute overnight stay in Nantucket due to bad weather & canceled ferries back to Hyannis. It can be tough when you’re traveling as a family of 4 to find enough space for everyone to have a bed for the night. But this beautiful home offers a large studio on the top floor with 2 twin size beds on one end and a king bed on the other end of the room. There’s a large bathroom with a walk in shower and a large sink & mini fridge. The beds were very comfortable with luxury linens and blankets. The hosts Forrest & Giuseppe were extremely hospitable and accommodating for our stay. We would love to return for a longer stay since this home is less than a 10 min walk to the ferry & very close to all restaurants and shops!"

Our favorite part was sitting on the lawn and playing corn hole. Breakfast on the porch in the mornings was lovely. We would most certainly come back. Thank you for an incredible stay. It was way too short of a visit but I could see a family reunion here."
