Five minutes walk to the centre of town, this charming fully-furnished family home is set among trees in a quiet location across the road from Gleeson Park. This reserve is mainly lawn and trees with a small playground for children, and is suitable for family games and picnics ... bring your badminton net! Designed and built by an architect in the 1960s, the quirky home has many interesting features including a narrow sky-view strip that runs the length of the roof. Very little has been modified over the years, apart from the original balcony. This was completely rebuilt (2017) to comply with modern building-safety standards. The master bedroom upstairs has a small bridge that leads across to an elevated private garden with fruit trees. While the main bathroom has a shower, toilet and bath, upstairs there's a second toilet with hand basin. Being a chalet style with open stairs, our holiday home is not ideally suited for wee toddlers or the infirm. Off street parking is available for up to three vehicles.
