This boutique hotel is beautiful. High end finishes and perfectly decorated. However, it was absolutely filthy which ruined my stay. I was so tired (after dragging luggage for a half hour through filthy streets that were covered in dog/human feces and stalked by a man who was hoping to rob me) and didn’t want to fight over getting my money back and finding another hotel so I reluctantly stayed with much regret. The room had not been cleaned for a long time. It looked like it had not been cleaned for months. The shower had hair all over it, left over shampoo bottles, and shampoo/soap/dirt/water stains on the floor and walls; the same with the sink and counter. The sheets were like sand paper which is very unusual in European hotels. The top bedding was dirty and stained. I did my best to clean it up myself as there is no housekeeper on property since this place only has five rooms or so. Furthermore, there was no other room to move to. There was a very nice man who worked during the day at the front. After 5:00, you’re on your own if you need anything. It was also difficult to find. All this for $150 a night. I will never return to Naples which is the dirtiest, smelliest city I have ever visited so I shouldn’t have been surprised at the condition of the room. Oh and the hot tub on the roof was not filled with water which would have been nice because it was winter and the view was nice.
