We went with 2 other couples over Memorial Day weekend. Hotel prices were outrageous this weekend and so we gave this a shot. Admittedly, I was a little leary about staying in a motel, but I was pleasantly surprised! The rooms are spacious and were very clean. The shower was hot and had great water pressure. The bed was comfortable. The bedding was not my favorite, but acceptable. We enjoyed the front porch outside our rooms and the round picnic table where we sat at night having some cocktails. The ocean is right across the street. We enjoyed a morning walk down to a nearby coffee and bagel shop. Restaurants are nearby. Check in and check out process was seamless. We would stay here again!

Wonderful stay here and will definitely return! Motel is directly across from the beach and a short walk to the Cliff Walks. What a beautiful walk and amazing views! We had Room #14 and had a direct view of the ocean. It is on a 2 lane road, but very little traffic here in April. The Room was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. We had 2 queen beds, 2 sitting chairs with a table and a small refrigerator. The beds were so comfortable and very appreciated after a day of traveling 4 hours and then walking. Very close to Ferry, which we were taking over to Block Island the next day. Very easy check in and check out. Christine and her staff made sure we had all we needed to be comfortable and relaxed. We will absolutely be going bqck!

Staying at The Anchor Motel was a TERRIFIC experience. My only complaint is ......we didn't start staying here sooner! The room was bright, CLEAN and inviting. The staff couldn't have been any more accommodating. The location is PERFECT! Can't get any closer to the beach, really!! Will definitely be staying again! Great experience. Highly recommend!! :)

Our rooms were so nice and since we paid online we didn’t need to check-in. They just sent us a room code. Very convenient since we arrived late at night. Great location also. Just a short drive to the Block Island Ferry. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome location and great place to stay! We’ve been coming to the Anchor for over 10 years as a family and joining friends for some fun beach time. Everything you want in a motel to enjoy the beach, local restaurants and friendly environment.

A perfect room steps from the beach. Spotless room/bathroom with mini fridge/flat screen TV. Simple check in/check out. Coffee/tea mini muffins/brochures and books available in small lobby. Will definitely be back! Thank you Anchor Hotel.

First time we stayed here …will not be the last ! We found our new place in Rhode Island. Accommodating staff, prime location, clean room and what else can someone want for a relaxing weekend at the beach ? They have coffee in the office and doughnuts in the morning . Cutest place ever !

This is a second time we stay at this hotel. Very clean, across the street from Scarborough Beach. Our granddaughter loves it here. Simple to book and leave without any hassle. The staff is friendly too! The only thing I wish they had was a small table in their rooms. Other than that it wonderful at this Motel. We'll be back next year for sure!!

One word.... Perfection. The rooms are comfortable, the owners are the nicest people you'll ever meet and the location is perfect. A few short steps and you're on the beach. It's not a 5 star hotel, but it's the perfect place to stay if you want to fall asleep listening to the waves crashing on the beach. We've been coming here for years and will continue to do so.
