My mother had a terrible experience during her stay at a hotel. On the first night, she and her friends dined at the hotel's French restaurant. Unfortunately, by early the next morning, two of the four in the group, including my mother, became severely unwell—likely due to something they had eaten at the restaurant. They were unable to leave the bathroom and requested assistance in getting to the hospital. However, the hotel informed them that the nearest hospital was far away and suggested they take a taxi. Instead of arranging proper medical help, the hotel staff took them to a drugstore. The trip, originally planned for two nights, had to be cut short as they returned a day early. Despite the circumstances, they were not offered a full refund. Later, the restaurant staff sent a flower arrangement to my mother as an apology. While this was a kind gesture, I truly wish my mother had been taken to the hospital when she needed it, as she was feeling very unwell.
