Google maps does not show the hotel having a restaurant...There is a restaurant open for dinner 5:30 to 6:30 (closed Monday and Tuesday) . I posted a July 24 menu. The hotel is open 7 days. Some of the descriptions say air conditioning but I think that is only in the common rooms. Room 18 was not a/c. We too absolutely love this hotel and have stayed here many times over the years. Squeaky clean and constantly being added to e.g. an elevator ten years ago and now free wi-fi. You won't be disappointed. We will be back.

Well, I stayed here again because this wonderful hotel is at the top of the list. The setting is without equal—right next to the Neckar River, and the view of the river and the barges and pleasure boats is incredibly relaxing. The rooms are great and the food is outstanding. Mr. Schachten‘s cakes, for example, are absolutely incredible. I’ll say it again—put this on your „bucket list“ because it will be an unforgettable experience that you’ll want to repeat as I have for 30 years.

We visit this hotel each year and never tire of the fabulous view of the 4 castles and the river. Barges and cruise ships quietly float by all day long. Modern, well appointed clean rooms all with balconies on the river. Great buffet breakfast and homemade cakes made daily by the owner. Family available for any questions or needs. Only @25 minutes from Heidelberg. Bike/walking paths all along the Neckar.

The Hotel Vierbürgeneck is simply a wonderful place. The owners, the Schachten family, are friendly, helpful, and they go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Which it always is. I say that because I have been there at least 10 times and stay there every time I travel to Germany. Everything is spotlessly clean and the food, including the buffet breakfast, is outstanding. And every room has a balcony overlooking the Neckar River, where one can view the barges quietly pass by in a beautifully bucolic setting. I just can’t recommend this place highly enough!!

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb des Ortes, aber wunderschön direkt am Neckar. Unser Zimmer war riesig, sehr ruhig und sauber! Vom Balkon aus blickten wir auf den Neckar und den Ort mit den Burgen. Das ganze Haus ist schön und gemütlich eingerichtet.Direkt vor dem Hotel führt ein Wander- und Fahrradweg nach Neckarsteinach und nach Neckargemünd bzw. Kleingemünd vorbei. In Neckarsteinach fahren S-Bahnen z.B. nach Heidelberg (15 Min.) Wir mussten also während unseres 4tägigen Aufenthaltes unseren PKW kein einziges Mal benutzen.Parkplätze sind am Hotel ausreichend vorhanden. Das Ehepaar Schachten war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war jeden Morgen sehr reichhaltig und liebevoll vorbereitet (z.B. mit frischen Erdbeeren!). Im Restaurant haben wir zweimal sehr gut zu Abend gegessen. Es gibt außerdem noch ein Terrassencafé, wo man leckeren Kuchen, Torte und Eis genießen kann.

Отдыхал в отеле 06.03.2025. Понравился номер, красивый вид с балкона - выходит на природу. Атмосфера отеля тоже интересная: в коридоре семейные портреты семьи владельца и жизнь отеля в прошлом - показывается история и я этим проникся. Отдельной благодарности заслуживает ресторан - вкусные блюда, красивый вид и завтрак, который ждал меня на столе к моему приходу. Жаль, что мне не удалось попробовать их торты - владелец отеля их делает лично. Надеюсь, что мне удастся исправить этот недостаток в случае повторного визита, тем более что я живу не так уж и далеко от них. К минусам отеля могу отнести: 1) отсутствие одноразовых тапочек. 2) отсутствие разнообразных гелей для душа, был лишь универсальный шампунь для тела и головы, который к нашему приезду не был обновлен и мне пришлось брать другой с умывальник. Для такой стоимости за номер можно было иметь все вышеперечисленные предметы в наличии. Но в целом это не омрачило мое пребывание, так что я доволен и скажу "спасибо" Господину Шахтену и его коллегам.
