"This was our third time at the Farmhouse. We love the feel of this place and the location in Afton is easy to get to and located near other great wineries. The vineyard views are a delight. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They had great tips on wineries and hiking in the area. We also enjoyed the wine-paired dinner one evening. It's nice to kick back on the coverage porch and enjoy quiet time with a good bottle of wine. We'll be back."

"Basecamp 151 is an great place to stay, especially if you're visiting wineries/breweries/cideries around Charlottesville, VA. It's modern, fresh, & our room was spacious, clean, & had the amenities we expected. There's a nice common area with coffee bar. Their website is the best B&B-type website I've ever used. I highly recommend this location!"

Only feet from the Blue Ridge Parkway access. Will stay again. Only 15 miles from the entrance of the Shenandoah national Forest and Skyline Drive."

"Beautiful country farmhouse. So well appointed with anything you need. What a welcome change than staying at a hotel. Large king bedroom with unbelievably comfortable bed and pillows. Wife and I almost had this whole place to ourselves. The grounds are just amazing…built in pool, multiple fire pits, hanging swings, hot tubs, badminton area, bocci/cornhole area, walking trail, front porch with rockers, pool room, kitchen with all coffee amenities, morning oatmeal, popcorn, chocolate chip cookies, single serve ice cream, WHERE ELSE DO YOU GET THIS!? The bedroom was beautiful as well, with its own coffee station, refrigerator, framed tv, wonderful sheets, pillows, mattress, soaking tub in large king suite bathroom (even with martini table)!!! Place was so beautiful we decided to stay an extra night (at a discount!). This would be perfect place to come with additional friends and family members to really get a chance to enjoy all the amenities. So sad we had to leave. Lastly; be very careful pulling in (and out of) the location as it’s right off a 55 mph highway. Put on your directional well in advance of pulling in to give a heads up to traffic behind you. When pulling out, just take your time for break in traffic flow for safety. Otherwise, everything was spectacular!!!"
