Was very romantic and cozy and beautiful outlook for our anniversary. Loved the decor and free standing bath. It had a fireplace to create a beautiful atmosphere. The bed was very comfy. Close to great eateries and brewery. It’s in a beautiful little town. Would highly recommend

We had a wonderful weekend in Bellingen staying at Koompartoo Retreat. The booking process was seamless. It was easy to locate. The surrounding grounds were beautiful I especially enjoyed waking to birdsong each morning. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The heating worked well which was good as it was winter and chilly. The location was great as there was no traffic noise yet we could walk to town for a meal and the markets. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay in this cabin. It’s cute and quaint, bed is comfortable and tv had Netflix. The balcony area was lovely and we very much enjoyed having a few glasses of wine there. Location was very close to town, we had a cat but also only a few minutes walk to restaurants, bars and grocers. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

These were crazy cabins in a suburban area, but surrounded by bush so you could not see any other houses. Our cabin was small, but nicely appointed with interesting decor. There were a lot of birds around us, which was lovely. We could walk to town from the cabin in around 15mins. A couple of things to note-There were steps up to the cabin which was okay as we did not have a lot of stuff but might be difficult if you are elderly or have a lot to carry. The curtains on the windows did not block light so we were up with the birds. This was a positive and a negative as it was lovely seeing the vegetation outside but had we wanted a sleep in that would’ve been difficult. Overall a cozy little stay.

Loved our 3 night stay, a memorable part of our road trip! Very comfortable, cosy and hidden out of the way yet so near the town. Best bit was waking to the dawn chorus and trying to identify all the wonderful birds. Bit of a struggle with the luggage (international travel means heavier suitcases and we're over 70) up the steps. As it was so lovely there we ate in using the bbq and microwave. Would've been useful to have some bowls for salad, etc but a minor issue.

Perfect get away for a few days. Great location close to all things Bellingen. cabins are so well appointed and spotlessly clean. We booked direct and they were so helpful. Had everything we wanted for a weekend away. Price was very reasonable. Would do it all again in a heartbeat.

It's such a super cute cabin in a quite spot, lovely bath and comfy bed. Bird life is phenomenal. Given I was travelling for 5 weeks I had alot of stuff so the steps ****** but I just went slow and did a few steps. Overall this was a nice surprise and I would stay again next time I'm in Bello!

A lovely setting on the fringe of Bellingen and an easy walk to town centre. The quietness of the location is only broken with the beautiful sounds of the bird life in the surrounding trees. Access from the car park to the cottage is a little steep but manageable if careful. We would certainly stay again!

With just 4 cosy little cabins all self contained, it is perfect for a couples weekend away. If you are looking for something a little different we recommend Koompartoo Reteat. Then jut 5min into Bellingen CBD with plenty of shops to browse and restaurants.
