Two Tails Hotel Luzhou

Two Tails Luzhou is one of the better hotels in Taipei, standing out in both comfort and service. The location is excellent—directly above an MRT station—making it incredibly convenient for getting around the city. The true highlight, however, is the staff. Their professionalism and warmth easily match the standards of an international 4-star property. Unlike many hotels in Taiwan, where ratings often feel inflated or inconsistent, this hotel delivers an experience that genuinely earns its rank. Taiwan’s hospitality market has long been weighed down by a disappointing reality: too many hotels operate with dated facilities, minimal upkeep, and inflated prices that fail to justify the value—especially when compared to the far more competitive markets in pan-Asia. Guests often encounter properties that feel tired, overpriced, and out of touch with international expectations. Not so with Two Tails. Recently rebranded and remodeled, it breaks away from the stagnation, offering a modern, well-maintained environment that finally matches the promise of Taiwan’s tourism potential. Rooms are well-kept, thoughtfully designed, and comfortable for both short and longer stays. While amenities are not over-the-top luxury, they are practical, clean, and perfectly sufficient. Overall, this hotel represents great value: accessible location, exceptional hospitality, and an experience that feels authentic rather than over-marketed. Highly recommended for travelers who want reliable quality in Taipei.

Travelled with daughter and other family. Nicely. Newly renovated and Great hotel. Clean. Staff great, helpful and friendly. Checkin was hassle free. Free luggage storage great. Free parking good (parking lot entrance slightly hard to find and parking lot a but tight. Allow 1 exit per night). Free ice cream was a great touch. Didn’t try the breakfast as we were meeting friends outside but it looked great. Did grab quick breakfast and drink from family mart just by entrance to MRT. Therr are tones of other restaurants nearby like McDonald’s, Starbucks, KFC. There is self laundry which is great. Convenient to have th metro underneath. Didn’t get to mall and restaurants below the 6th floor reception. But great to know they are there. Didn’t get to try happy hour but great offering. Bed was comfortable (but bit firm), toiletries in washroom nice.  Definitely would stay again. Thank you for your hospitality. Great for friends/family or business.

The staffs are super nice and very helpful to provide travel information we need. The room itself is very tidy and clean. Super comfortable!!! Hotel also provide the free ice cream and my kid loves it. Great location and easy access to bus stops.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! Conveniently located directly above St. Ignatius High School MRT station (just take the lift from level B2 to 6 to reach the hotel lobby). While it’s a bit far from the main attractions, the efficient public transport makes getting around easy and manageable. The rooms were spacious with good amenities, and we loved the complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks available at the cafe from 4PM-10PM. Despite limited English, the reception staff were friendly and helpful, adding to our positive experiences.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are large, bright and clean. They even provide free laundry powder. Only drawback is the iron isn’t in your room. Room layout is conducive for remote work. Hotel is situated right above the metro station and there is plenty of food around. I really enjoyed my stay.
