Zero Inn Motel

Very disappointed and disgusted with the 4 letter words spat at me by the Manageress. All because I asked to be able to park outside the room we were allocated to. After being told to leave ( more 4 letter words ) received a refund and did just that. If reception was like this I hate to think what the state of the room would have been like.

Obviously new owners since we stay last. Previous owners were friendly and helpful. The new owners particularly the male is extremely rude and unhelpful. An unhappy experience dealing with them. Would not recommend to anyone. Appalling service

A dated motel on the outside but very clean and comfortable on the inside. A little hidden gem was the restaurant, the Motel is rated as 3 stars but the restaurant should be rated as 5 Stars. I had the Beer Battered Flake and it was the best I have had in Australia, after visiting the UK a few years ago where they know how to cook fish with lovely crisp batter it was a lovely surprise to find a place here. My wife had the Pinani Prawns and we both had the Brandy Snaps, fresh cream and Icecream to finish. Not over priced and we were told the Chef is only a young bloke of 20, if he keeps this standard of preparation and presentation then he has a very bright future indeed.

This is located half way between Melbourne and Adelaide, and makes prefect sense to stop her for an overnight break. The motel is very clean and the hosts Friendly. This is very busy and you need to book for dinner. Unfortunately the wi fi is very hot and miss, residual in the room where it was non existent. Needing to make a business video call the next day we drove to Horsham.

With a name like Zero Inn and in a place called Nhill, it was destined for a zero rating. It certainly lived up to its hype. This motel is utterly disgusting. The service, well that is also awful. Stayed in December 2022 and were underwhelmed from start to finish. Grossly appointed rooms, pool is absolutely putrid and cannot be used without getting contracting a skin disease. I had to go on a course of antibiotics after using the pool. Do not stay here and even more do not even stop or slow down in Nhill, just keep driving even if you are tired. Disgraceful experience and fittingly awarded zero in stars.

This place ticked all the boxes for a middle of the trip to Adelaide stop. Clean room - tick Parking space - tick Large comfy bed - tick Onsite restaurant - tick I really enjoyed my stay here and appreciated that once i arrived i could just relax. Hosts Neil and Deb were lovelyand even though i was solo i was made to feel very welcome in the restaurant.
