Ocean Tally

Quiet and peaceful with an amazing view of the ocean waves crashing against the cliffs. The weather during our stay was windy and overcast with occasional rain squalls so we were able to appreciate the power of the roiling waves. There is a lovely calm beach on the lagoon side with a private dock and seating area. We saw turtles and some red starfish right by the beach. Beautiful sunsets. Our cottage was lovely with large windows looking out at the water. Annette gave us a great start with a full breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with her and Miles. If only the sun had come out so we could truly appreciate the blues of the ocean and lagoon!

My husband & I stayed 5 nights at ocean tally. We came with 2 other couples. Each of us stayed in our own private cottage that overlooked the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. We woke up every morning to a beautiful sunrise. Annette our lovely & informative hostess & Miles our very entertaining host had a fabulous breakfast for us every morning either in the lighthouse building or out under the pergola. The Atlantic side was very “ragey” as the islanders put it, but fortunately ocean tally owns property down & across the street on the harbor side that was absolutely beautiful, calm, & tranquil where we were able to paddle board & kayak in clear water that was full of sea turtles, huge red starfish, conch, & rays. The weather was perfect. We all had an amazing time & definitely will come back to the island again.

OceanTally is artfully( & thoughtfully ) curated to provide a welcoming retreat that brings natural elements and rich Bahamian colors together. Annette and Miles made every effort to ensure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The location is off the beaten path - so be prepared to venture down a dirt road for a bit .. don’t forget to roll down your windows ; you will hear the birds (and occasional frogs) as they are singing the natural songs of the island. Annette and /or Miles will greet you once you arrive with friendly smiles and tips to make your our stay comfortable.

Perfetto in tutto,dalla colazione alla posizione che è ottima ,lontano dagli alberghi di massa e vicino comunque alle spiagge più belle di Eluthera , accoglienza perfetta e disponibilità ad aiutare per ogni cosa , consiglio questoB&B per chi ama la natura più incontaminata ma allo stesso tempo lo charme di lusso , bellissimi cottage con patio e vista sull Atlantico spettacolare,L Alba ogni mattina ti farà credere di essere in paradiso … top top top pulito,ampie camere, servizio eccellente, raro trovare situazioni così perfette .. grazie Annette
