Very convenient for the city centre. The independent cafes & restaurants of St Benedicts are very close. WiFi isn't great, but the hotel is clean, warm and well soundproofed. You don't really use a Premier Inn for more than sleeping and this is fine. Duke St car park is next door for an additional charge

Check in was OK, the room was clean and well prepared, unfortunately the view from the window was just a painted wall! We opted to eat dinner in the hotel, which in hindsight was a mistake, the two ladies on duty were pleasant, but also covering the reception and the bar, so not often available to serve. I’ve no idea what other jobs the kitchen staff were covering, but service was so slow, I can only guess they were visiting the local Iceland to collect the cheapest scampi they could find, there was certainly no tails in the whole tail scampi. Another point of interest was the availability of the child menu, we were required to check online as no child menu’s were available! Based on our experience I would recommend staying there but not eating in.

Nice and comfortable bed. Great location, quite close to many great attractions in town at walking distance. Quiet and pleasant sleep as you can’t hardly hear any noise from outside. Happy and friendly staff. Our stay was made easy from all in the team

This is the most friendly hotel I have stopped at out of the 42 sites visited so far of this Hotel chain.Every member of the staff I met was happy at their postions. Premier Inn staff are trained to a very high standard which other Hotel chain would do well to copy!

Lovely clean rooms . Lift or stairs to each floor. Helpful polite friendly staff clean rooms on arrival. Well presented. Cleaned very well.breakfast a dinner available if wanted drinks from machine if needed water available near reception to drink.Look forward to staying here again

Room is really nice but the highlight is Emily who has been running the front desk and taking food order all with a smile on her face. She has been making every table feel welcome and taken care of. There is an another lady at the bar making cocktails for people and she seems awesome too but I can’t remember her name. Food was great too!

First impressions from the hotel was friendly and very welcoming thought Tracy was very friendly and. Lovely.The rooms was very clean and comfortable. Found the staff very friendly especially Andrew the Maintance man. Great hotel definitely will come back again,

Smooth check in and also check out. room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Perfeft diatsnce, short walk to the city centre and about 20 minutes to the train station.. Staff were friendly.... What more could you ask for
