Très bon emplacement face à la gare ferroviaire de l'autre coté de la rivière Wensum, à deux pas du vieux centre historique ses boutiques, restaurants et sites à voir. Proche du stade de Carrow Road pour les amateurs de Football. Pratique, calme, propre, moderne. Excellent breakfast...

We had to wait until 11:30am for our room to be ready even though we paid for early check in which allows you to check in at 11am. The room was dusty, the fridge section looked to have not been dusted or wiped in a couple years. You could see the dust in the air also. Felt rushed.

First time at this hotel and first time booking Premier Plus room. Very comfy room and quiet. Worth the Plus price just for an espresso machine, fast wifi and an iron in the room. Good nights sleep. Staff are just lovely and very helpful with recommendations on where to go and what to see on a short visit. Parking fee is reasonable but as others have said the carpark needs better lighting at night. The restaurant however lets down this hotel. It needs a radical refurb or at least a thorough deep clean. Floors and tables are 'sticky', surfaces full of dust, cutlery and crockery not cleaned properly. Breakfast looks unappetising and dinner portion was tiny for the money. Stains on chair seats and the carpets looks like they have not been cleaned for decades. Some staff do not represent a clean and professional image, unlike the staff in the hotel. If you are looking for a comfortable nights sleep stay here but go somewhere else to eat. Lots of lovely cafes and restaurants nearby.

I visited this premier inn June 2024 and it was horrendous Visited 4 nights April/May 2025 and what a turnaround Staff fantastic especially Ami and Sandra. Groover has been hear at least 20 years when as a Norfolk person I started coming in (now live in London) Anyway a very very pleasant experience and massive improvement on last year

I stayed with my husband for one night. The bed was very uncomfortable, we both had backache the next day. The shower was very hard to regulate the temperature. The worst part was the walk through the car-park to get to the hotel entrance. It was very frightening at night - like something from a horror film with flashing lights and a dark alley to walk through. The hotel itself is ok. It’s looking tired, but the staff members were helpful and kind. The breakfast was excellent - hence the 3 stars.

The building is a little tired, inside and out. That said, it is very conveniently positioned for the train station and town centre. We only had breakfast on our stay. The food was fine but it felt like no one was in charge. So, I think, QC was not as it could/should be. Staff were polite and helpful, but we had to ask for more juice, instead of it just being refilled. The coffee machine was out of order so only instant available. There is another coffee machine only a few yards from the dysfunctional one but it's behind the bar. Do you can't use it. Neither can the staff it would seem. Overall ok but could so easily have been better.

Had a great experience. Debbie on the desk was very helpful and made my stay unforgettable, her Cust mer service was above and beyond. I'll be back again for sure and I really did have an enjoyable stay 😁 The cleanliness was great, I will definitely be coming again with my husband x

Great location to the centre and the train station. Staff very friendly and helpful, our premier plus room was spacious with a great shower. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend Premier Plus bedroom and breakfast.

This was one of the worst hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. We booked a standard room but I would call it a very basic room. We had to buy our own toilet roll as the one provided was cheap, we had to buy air freshener because the room smelt funny. There was thick dust in the air conditioning extractor fan, it looked it hadn't been cleaned in months. We had trouble turning the taps off in the bath and then the water didn't drain out of the bath. We left the room with the water still in the bath but luckily it had gone by the time we came back later on that evening. This is the kind of room you can imaging building contractors being given to stay in while they are away working. The only good thing was that the bed was very comfortably, but unfortunately the bedding seemed cheap.

Good clean hotel. Food at both breakfast and dinner all good staff very pleasant. Hotel is looking dated in some rooms but this does not detract from our stay. Hotel in walking distance to football ⚽ ground making it our place to stay when traveling to Norwich.

Enjoyed a nice weekend in Norwich ,the room was clean and comfortable and excellent for the main shopping centre and riverside centre. I arrived by train with the station a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. My only criticism is that the outside of the building needs doing up as it's looking a bit run down.

We upgraded to a premier room. Room was tiny and suffered from road noise. The bed was uncomfortable. The ultimate wifi was spotty and only connected to one of my devices. Room cleaning was also an issue. After 20 years of visits to this hotel we will be looking for an alternative on our next visit.

Around 15 years ago, I swore I would never set foot in a Premier Inn again after a very bad experience in London! Experienced bad customer service, dirty room, grubby hard mattress, and the worst breakfast I have had in my life. Yesterday, I broke that pledge and stayed at the Nelson Premier Inn Norwich as it was for just one night . What could go wrong thought...... Well, nothing . From the moment of checking in, I was greeted when smiles and helpfulness. I was slightly early, so they kindly took my bags so I could continue with my day. I arrived back very late evening and again with new staff who were really lovely. Smiles all around and were great with suggestions of bars that were still open if I wanted a drink. Asked if I would like to book breakfast and then gave directions to my room. On entering the room, it smelt clean. And on checking, it was sparkling clean. There was plenty of coffee, tea, and sugar to kerp me going. The bed was better than some 5 star hotels I've stayed in. I slept like a baby. Given that it's in the centre of the nightlife, it was so quiet. Greeted at reception with a good morning as I passed by for breakfast. Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choices. I chose the Full English and it's was excellent. So welldone Nelson Norwich, you have restored my faith in Premier Inns, and I will be back. Let's hope the others are as good as you.
