"Hard pass on this one.This place is filthy. The wifi is spotty at best, the air condition is at least 30 yrs old and has never been cleaned. This was once a nice place to visit but It's no longer cute, cozy, or woodsy. It is now old and broken down and disgusting."

"A beautiful location next to the Rock River is the best feature of the hotel. The room was large and had a mini refrigerator and microwave. The wifi worked well and there was coffee in the lobby. The front desk is not staffed 24 hours and the rooms are not cleaned every day, but neither is my house, haha. There is a bank and two restaurants sharing the parking lot but otherwise nothing is available within walking distance. A quick five minute drive gets you to anywhere in town."

"Stayed at this location for the night while passing through the Rochelle area. Hotel was fairly easy to locate and reach, although the parking lot wasn't overly intuitive the first time around. Hotel was mildly busy at the time of my arrival, but there wasn't too long of a wait to get checked in. Hotel staff was polite and efficient with processing everything. Stayed in a standard room with a queen-sized bed. Room was clean and well-maintained. Plenty of room available, especially for a single person staying the night. Minimal noise from the hallway and surrounding rooms. Bed and bedding were comfortable, and I had a pretty good night's sleep. Complimentary breakfast offered in the morning. Decent selection of options were available, which was a nice way to have a small meal before getting on the road. Price was reasonable for the room and complimentary breakfast."

"If you need WiFi and a good internet connection be sure to have a phone with its own hotspot and plenty of data. The location of the router(s) is such that only the rooms near the office will have any service. Even if you are able to connect, the service is barely on a par with dial up of the early 1990's. My MacBook complained about the router(s) configuration and rated the security as "weak." The rooms themselves are as pictured and OK for one night. I wouldn't recommend it at all for a several night stay."
