Clos de Tuliers is spectacular. But from the sister of the bride be aware of the venue’s certain pitfalls. Notwithstanding the substantial bill paid to host the guests one is not allowed to arrive until 18h00 the night before the wedding. This is unacceptable. And places the CLIENT under unnecessary pressure which is out of order quite frankly. They have paid for the venue and require access to it to prepare for the pre wedding dinner. Next the venue is wholly abysmal at providing sufficient water pressure to all the amenities for the guests who have travelled for thousands of miles to attend their precious families’ wedding. Clos. If you wish to make money out of your premises - buck up your water pressure. And tone down the sewerage tank stink. Next.. heaven forbid you choose an outside caterer to provide meals for your guests. They get parked unceremoniously in the driveway and not allowed to utilise the venue’s full facilities. Further. The somewhat unceremonious departure of your guests on Monday morning is dealt with the termination of all water supplies which is highly distasteful and quite frankly unacceptable. The urgency with which the facility wishes to discard their guests is entirely unbecoming even though they may not have a further function later that day which in our case was not applicable. Neither for that matter was the book in date on the Friday evening. I stayed up the road and there were no signs of an any event on Thursday evening . This glorious place needs to improve its game - not bully it’s clients. And further given the temperatures which we endured, each bedroom requires air conditioning unless you wish your guests to sweat to death. So. Clos . Wake up and wise up. This is meant to be a 5 star experience. Lift your game. It has all the amenities to achieve this You’ve got the basics of an extraordinary venue. Your current business model is brutal . You have turned an old tile factory into a potentially beautiful venue. Follow it through. The best venues in the world of which yours might be require the honest acknowledgment that the Cient is right and it’s your responsibility to improve your services to achieve this . Otherwise you will simply be known as as a mediocre spot to rip people off. I trust you will take this in the spirit in which it is meant . Unless you don’t care. In which case this stands as a testimonial to your less than satisfactory manner of anyone who chooses to use it.
