Casa a Colori Padova

This property is nice to stay for one night or two if you’re alone. This is around 4-5 km from center and difficult to reach without taxi. Breakfast could be better but the room is ok in average price. Try this hotel, it’s clean and new hotel to stay

My 3 girlfriends and I booked this stay for a week in Padova for the holidays. Despite the room being of decent standards and the expected breakfast being sufficient, the service was unsatisfactory and distasteful. The room we rented was supposed to be 2 single beds and 1 double bed. Due to a switch of one guest for a night, one single bed's sheets needed to be changed. To our surprise on coming back to the room at the end of the day, we noticed that the single double bed was changed to two single beds. This was done with no previous informing or inquiry. When we asked the receptionist the reason for this change, she denied our claims stating there were always 2 single beds. Now, how do 4 whole individuals remember the type of bed wrong? Did we all get amnesia in less than 24 hours? Well, according to the receptionist, we were lying and there were apparently 4 single beds all along, even though in our booking it said 2 singles and 1 double. We stated clearly the exchange of a guest and presented each guest's ID. Was our bed arrangement changed because of the primitive/baseless thought that black guests will bring in extra people to sleep in the room for free??! We will never know. Additionally, we had various hostile interactions with no prior provocation. The least a visitor expects from the stay they paid for is a basic, respectful and polite customer service. My friend reviewed on *********** to express her discontent with her experience and this is the response we got for our stay: "Dear Juliette, we are very surprised by your review. First of all, nobody of our staff can be considered ******: we are a work team composed by people from South America to Germany, from Italy to Bangladesh. None of our staff members have ever had problems of racism one with the other or with our guests. Second, the room you booked was exactely the room we assigned to you: you ask for a 4-beds room with one large bed and 2 single beds, and that was the setting of the room. We also agree in making a change of linen because one of the guest was leaving the second day, replaced by another one. So we do not consider ourself not collaborative or not paying attention to the needs of our guests. In the end, we are surprised you didn't enjoy your stay with us, but fortunately for you Padova has plenty of hotels that will guest your next vacation. If they want to do better in this industry they need to instruct their staff on putting their personal biases aside and stick to doing their job objectively. Overall, would NOT recommend this stay for non-caucasian individuals.

Great place for the money. Loved the restaurant at Giorgio, they make exceptional pizza. We spent all the time in the gym and later in the pool, where we met two great tip-tap-toe dancers from Frosinone. The only problem was that the neighbouring room complained for the banging at 3 am. But that was our fault, we admit, and we’re deeply sorry. Padova (Padua) is an amazing city, full of things, but a bit over the place. The main sight we suggest is the “Ponte de quatro martiri” where you can enjoy the sunset and the spiders hanging around. Also we suggest a day to Legnaro, the only thing is to beware incoming thunderstorms. The best thing about Padua though is the bus system, which is free and always on time. I’ve forgot to mention the beautiful Capela di Scovregni, where you can admire the masterpieces by Lionardo and Rafaello. We would also like to thank the staff for their exceptional service, summed by the motto: “NO”, which they told meant “of course”. The only complaint was when we asked for the access to the meeting room, to which they replied: “…cuesti a un cost”, which made us realise how tough life is for everyone

Sono stato ospite solo per una notte in Casa a Colori. Sono stati tutti estremamente gentili e disponibili. Lo staff è davvero pronto e ricettivo. L’hotel è una zona comoda e raggiungibile. Le camere sono silenziose, ampie e nuove. Wi-Fi perfetto. La colazione semplice ma buona. Manca solo forse un po’ di verde nel giardino fronte ingresso. Consigliato.

Sito in periferia ma con ottimi collegamenti: in 10 minuti di autobus si è in centro. Edificio di recente costruzione, arredi nuovi e funzionali. Camere belle e luminose, tutto molto pulito, personale discreto, gentile e efficiente. Non c'è ristorante e nemmeno il bar, solo distributori automatici di bevande calde e snack. Colazione con ampia disponibilità di dolci, ottimi, buffet salato un po' scarsino. In camera wi fi gratuito, TV, frigorifero vuoto. Cambio biancheria ogni 3 giorni, salvo esigenze diverse da comunicare. Molto più economico di altri hotel più titolati (35€ a notte a testa in matrimoniale), e in fondo per chi non ha l'esigenza di passare la notte al bar o cenare al ristorante svolge benissimo le sue funzioni.

Stanza molto spaziosa e pulita. Peccato per il cattivo odore che fuorusciva dalle tubazioni del bagno. Credo fosse un problema di fogna della zona… Colazione ottima e abbondante, personale gentile e disponibile! Zona tranquilla ma un po’ periferica. Meglio se automuniti.

Siamo stati in questa struttura per un week end. Si trova nella prima periferia di Padova, ampio parcheggio, praticamente attiguo ad una piccola pizzeria dove si può mangiare al tavolo. Ambiente tranquillissimo, ottime le camere, pulizia al top, ottima anche la colazione a buffet. Consigliatissimo.

Hotel fuori Padova ma abbastanza vicino al centro, stanze grandi, letti un po' troppo morbidi x i miei gusti, cuscini troppo bassi. Nota negativa: cambio asciugamani ogni 3 giorni, nessuna mensola in bagno a parte quella sotto lo specchio. Non c'è il bidet, ma la doccetta nella doccia. Nessun appendino nella stanza così grande. Colazione buona e varia. Silenzioso, in contesto urbano tranquillo. Lo consiglio soprattutto x chi ha la macchina, altrimenti occorre prendere il bus che passa ogni 20 minuti e si sta in 20 minuti in centro. Buono il ristorante subito fuori l'ingresso dell'hotel.
