Maui North Shore ocean-view Maui by the Sea is a beautiful vacation rental - an ideal ocean-view cottage located on an oceanfront property between Paia and Ho’okipa, on Maui's scenic and exciting North Shore. Our two-story cottage has gorgeous views of a sapphire ocean with dancing waves. Simply sit back and relax on the private covered lanai and enjoy the view! Tropical ambiance with all the comforts of home: The 500 sq.feet Central Air Conditioned apartment is upstairs (downstairs is the open garage), surrounded by a lovely Hawaiian tropical garden with bamboos, palm trees, gingers, heliconias and fruit trees. The inside is cozy and elegant. A separate bedroom with a queen-sized bed, full bath, and full kitchen complement the layout. The ocean is your front yard. The property is ocean front, our home is on the ocean side and the cottage is on the road side. Of course our guests have access to the chairs and table located at the edge of the ocean. No beach access from the property as there are some big rocks sitting in front. But a beach is walking distance from here. Tavares Beach. Walk out into the front yard (along the owners' house), and watch surfers enjoying the beautiful blue waves! Maui by the Sea's property is located right on the ocean, fronting a popular local surf break. The entertainment never stops! Your cottage is 150 feet from the ocean. (Access to the water is possible but there is no beach in front of the property; it is a rocky shoreline). A sandy beach is 200 yards from the cottage with access for windsurfing, surfing and snorkeling; or if you wish, just sunbathing on the golden sand. A short drive down the coast takes you to Baldwin Beach, the nicest beach on Maui's North Shore with long long stretches of white sand, crystal clear water, lifeguards, pavilions, and showers. Legal permitting RENT WITH CONFIDENCE With 25 years of experience, Maui By The Sea has always operated under a legal County of Maui permit and our current permit is valid through 2031. DISCLOSURE: THERE IS A RENTAL AGREEMENT TO READ, SIGN AND RETURN AT TIME OF BOOKING. Maui by the Sea Cottage sits off of Hana Highway, it is a 2 lane road). There can at times be excessive road noise. However, we have good insulation and have added central air conditioning to minimize the problem. There will be no refund given due to this situation. Absolutely NO smoking in or outside the cottage or on the property. No candle burning or open flame. No loud music. No parties. No outside visitors. Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. From the guest cottage you look over the roof of the owner’s house to the ocean. Our guests are very welcome to walk anywhere on the property and use the lawn chairs by the ocean. There is no beach in front of the property, it is a rocky shoreline, yet it is possible to access to the water for snorkeling and surfing. A sandy beach is 200 yards from the cottage.
