Flegra Palace

We had a superior room which was spacious and cleaned daily. The breakfast was a bit boring after two weeks, could have changed the simple items such as cakes and fruit choices. The bacon and sausages were gluten free which we have never seen before and a bit tasteless. The hotel is on a busy main road into Pefkorhori, so it you are not use to traffic noise, maybe this hotel is not for you. The staff are friendly and helpful and the pool area is clean and tidy. However, as usual people were putting towels on sunbeds from 6.00am, so by 9.00am they had all been reserved. The beach is a 5 minute walk but the charge for sunbeds can be anything from 20 -40 euros each. I think that's why people stayed around the pool, as they are free. I did request a room in a quiet location and top floor' if possible'. We arrived to a room close to the road and we had to change the room on arrival. The walk to Pefkorhori is 15 minutes just to get to the town and it is big and very busy. The taxi would be your better option and pay 5 euros each way, as you can spend at least another hour exploring Pefkorhori. The 'old' original village again is a 20 minute walk but you can see the old charm of the village. rather than the new town on the main road.

Lovely to look at on the outside, beautiful gardens and nice pool area. This is where it ends really for us. No disabled facilities. My don has autism. My mother has multiple scelerois. I have mobility issues. No accessible facilities just steps. No rails.anywhere and very slippy floor with an unsafe shower. My mother couldn't have a wash and the shower was too high pressured. We received a dull room at the back. No view only the bin storage. With an area where the birds went to the toilet. Up a few steps. Dull outdated room wonky picture on the wall grim decor and not up to four star standard like the lovely looking rooms in the brochure. Must be a cheap room. Very expensive restaurant and drinks want the money straight away. Not friendly. It was a long way from anywhere no shop on site. Had to taxi everywhere. Wouldn't return. Misleading. The garden for kids was a few old pirces of old playground equipment. A Hole. In the fence to the road! and broken trampoline. Dried out grass and the staff smoking in the corner. Not great. Can't fault the cleaner though she did a brilliant job. I Felt Like we were conned compared to others rooms and treatment.

I had originally booked a different hotel but British Airways Holidays contacted me a few months ago and needed me to select a different hotel and after looking at several others decided on the Flegra Palace. On my arrival I received a very warm welcome and was given the high floor pool view room I had requested via email a few weeks previously. The room was beautifully decorated with great amenities, lovely bathroom and a great balcony with view of the pool and sea. The one thing that kept coming to mind was the attention to detail in all the areas, nice contemporary furniture, well tended beautiful gardens and probably the most comfortable sun loungers around the pool that I have ever come across. There was always a great selection of food at breakfast and in the restaurant at dinner, with a great selection of drinks at the bar. Although the hotel is not directly on the beach, Mare Nostra, beach club makes up for it, with good food, a decent selection of drinks, at very reasonable prices and great service to your lounger on the beach, the same excellent ones as by the hotel pool, this is a fantastic addition to the hotel and the mist beautiful spot to spend the day. The overall highlight of this hotel is the staff, once again as with the attention to detail, all the staff are friendly, helpful and full committed to making your stay excellent. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

We found this hotel to be generally excellent. It is in a good location and if you can't bother with walking 20mins into the centre of town, then you can easily get a taxi for 5 euros, very easy, especially as the reception staff were more than happy to book this. The main town centre has loads of bars and restaurants. Nearer to home, the hotel has a pool which was very warm and good that you could get into it just by walking in. Also more sunbeds than people using them when we went. We did go to the associated place Mare Nostra which is actually on the beach (3 mins away) and had very good service for drinks on the sunbeds. I would also say that the hotel was very clean and well maintained. The only slightly negative points i would make are : 1 .The breakfast was a bit repetitive, would have benefited from more variety; 2. The bar staff around the swimming pool seemed very dis-interested and they could have done much more to come out to guests to ask if they wanted a drink, whereas you had to go to the bar and almost beg them for a drink. On balance though, have to say, on other things, our room maid was excellent, also very good air conditioning which was included in the price plus the safe was included.

Just spent two lovely weeks at this lovely hotel.Lovely rooms where beautifully cleaned everyday by our lovely cleaner.The bar staff and reception staff were lovely and always helpful.The grounds are kept to a very high standard and are very clean,as was the lovely pool. The breakfast was tasty and a good choice, just needs a extra coffee station and maybe moved around a bit away from the door, but still great. The best thing we enjoyed was the beach club affiliated with this hotel called mare nostra which had beautiful beds and a special thank you to the two girls at the beach club who couldn't do enough for you,food there is excellent. The town is a 15 minute walk away or a 5 euro taxi away. We loved it so much we are going to return again this year.

I recently stayed at Flegra Palace and had a generally pleasant experience. One of the highlights of the hotel is the warm and attentive staff. A special thank you to Evgenia at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay — her professionalism and kindness truly stood out. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool, and its location is excellent — within walking distance of many good restaurants and beautiful beaches. These aspects made our stay very convenient and enjoyable. On the downside, the breakfast was exactly the same every day during our 5-day stay, which became a bit repetitive. Also, on the first day, we found ants in the room, although the issue was resolved afterwards. Despite these small inconveniences, I would still recommend Flegra Palace for its great location, nice facilities, and above all, the wonderful staff who made our stay feel welcoming and comfortable
