Initially, we booked 'Torarica' and not Royal Torarica after consulting with Torarica which would be more suitable. Upon arrival, we went to our room, the size of a broom closet, with an odd smell. We went to ask for another room, but that was not possible. There was zero cooperation from the Toraica Manager. She continuously tried to upsell, instead of trying to find a reasonable solution. I forgot her name, but this was the worst manager I had ever met(and I travel a lot). Royal Torarica and Torarica were the same price, so we suggested to switch hotels since it was the same hotel chain. According to Torarica this was no option. Dissapointed we went to Royal Torrarica and explained everything that was happening to their managerJoyce. She understood immediately how this affected our stay, and told us not to worry. From that point on, she made sure we did not have to worry about a thing. We waited while being taken care of at Royal Torarica. Got some refreshments while we waited, and came back with a perfect solution. We changed hotels immediately and had an amazing stay at Royal Torarica. The staff at Royal Torarica is very friendly, and helpful. At Torarica everyone was sleeping at their desk, and annoyed at every request. Their management style makes such a difference.
