This is an authentic French chateau. It is full of period fixtures and fittings with little regard to modernity. The wonderful chatelaine, Natalie, is a hands on hostess who actively engages in conversation with her guests. If you want to experience a genuine chateau for a bargain price, then this is ideal. We will definitely stay whenever we are in the area. To experience the property, a minimum of two 1nights is necessary .

Nous avons passé une nuit à l’hôtel Greet Limoges Nord et avons été très satisfaits. L’accueil était chaleureux, le personnel aux petits soins et très disponible. La chambre était confortable, propre et bien équipée, avec une déco moderne et originale. Le petit-déjeuner, était délicieux et copieux. Le parking gratuit et la proximité des axes routiers sont un vrai plus. Un excellent rapport qualité-prix pour un hôtel écologique et convivial. Juste à la gare, l'attitude du réceptionniste était très bonne. La première chambre était au dernier étage. Bien qu'il soit climatisé, il faisait chaud. Le serveur nous a emmenés voir deux chambres. Choisissons-en un, le seul regret. Est un standard trois étoiles sans bouilloire électrique

Nice hotel, we took a family room, that was two rooms 35/36 joined in one with shared bathroom and wc. There is a big parking just in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. Just in 3 min walk from the city center. Very good prices for its value.

La chambre est propre, moderne et surprenantment confortable avec un bon lit et un climatisation efficace. Le parking gratuit et sécurisé à l'extérieur était un grand plus, et l'emplacement à côté de l'autoroute A20 l'a fait parfait pour une arrêt de nuit. Le personnel était ami et efficace au check-in. Le petit déjeuner était de base mais adéquat. En général, exactement ce que vous attendiez d'un budget Ibis pas de frills, de grande valeur, de calme suffisant, et sans soucis. Je m'arrêterais heureusement ici à nouveau.

We have stayed in this hotel many times, and the service is great. This time we stayed in room number 6. There is an automatic card reader for the door. The ciity tax was 1.20 euos per person. The rooms, though a little small, are cosy and comfortable, with a kettle and tea/coffee/sugar, plenty of choices of pillows, a bed comforter, good bed linen, modern furnishings, and a good, clean bathroom with hairdryer. The shower works well. There is a TV (didnt find any English channels but it didnt matter to me), good lighting, and helpful reception staff. It features a restaurant and bar, as well as a small seating area. Outside the hotel directly to the right there is a great Asian restaurant with take away service plus a sit down buffet. Across the main road to the front of the hotel is Le Clerc supermarket. The hotel is very close to the Saint Germain Clinic and the Main Brive Hospital, and easy to walk to both.

The service was super friendly. We were kindly offered a voucher for a discount at the nearby Campanile restaurant for our dinner. In the morning although we did not pay to eat breakfast we were allowed to have boiling water for our own mug of tea.
