酒店地理位置很好。離衞城、衞城博物館步行距離都在10分鐘以內，適合City Walk。我們兩大兩小訂的一室一廳的公寓房，到酒店時sofa bed已經幫忙佈置好了，一家大小都有自己的空間，不擁擠。公寓內除了沒有洗衣機，其他設備都一應俱全，不過樓下有幾十米有自助洗衣店。下樓往兩邊走都有不錯的本地餐廳，味道很棒，特別是一家特別大的麪包店，我們連續三天都在那裡用餐，很多選擇。酒店性價比高，位置優越，值得推薦！記得出發前提前和酒店聯繫確認到店時間（前台六點就下班了），以免影響辦理入住。

7.5/10 Location: Outside of “central” Athens but easily connected by metro & buses. Kifisia is gorgeous, safe, filled with high end boutiques, restaurants + cafes. Room/Ambience: Hotel itself is stunning + very relaxing vibe. Decor details incredible as expected of a boutique hotel of this nature.  Food: Very good selection of hot + cold, plus actual barista coffee. Do not expect American style breakfast - this is Europe after all. We did not eat lunch or dinner but the menus looked great and was filled with locals in the evening. Service: Although reception staff were sufficiently friendly, service very lacking for a high end boutique hotel. It was 26 degrees celsius every day while in Athens. Not prior to our stay, nor during check-in did anyone advise us that the pool was closed likely until end of May. This is not advertised on any booking platform, or on the hotel website, which was very disappointing. We sat in the pool lounge chairs for over two hours (staff saw us as the restaurant is immediately adjacent). Nobody offered us pool towels to lie on, or if we wanted to order any drinks or food. My partner had to get dressed, go to reception and ask. They didn’t even offer to clean the pool given the hot weather made it ready for use. It really put a downer on our stay, and why we opted not to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Similar experience at breakfast; nobody offered us coffee orders, we heard someone else order and realised it was available.

This place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example). The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible. Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log. Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 🧺 full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense. Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience.

J'y ai passé 3 nuits lors d'un voyage d'affaires. Une courte promenade vous mènera au Pardenon et au Musée de la Nouvelle Acropole. L'emplacement est également excellent, avec de nombreux restaurants grecs à proximité. Tout le monde à la réception de l'hôtel était sympathique. L'espace du restaurant du petit-déjeuner n'est pas très grand, mais vous pourrez prendre votre repas dans une atmosphère détendue. La taille de la pièce permet de passer un moment de détente. La pression de l'eau dans la douche était bonne, mais j'ai été déçue de constater qu'il n'y avait pas de robinet dans la baignoire et que je ne pouvais donc pas prendre de bain. L'ascenseur était rétro et dégageait une atmosphère agréable, mais d'un autre côté, il fonctionnait lentement. Même s'il est à l'opposé d'un hôtel moderne, je pense que c'est un très bon hôtel pour passer un moment de détente dans un hôtel historique en Europe.

Nous avons passé une nuit avant de partir pour Santorin. L'hôtel est magnifique, propre et moderne. Ce fut un plaisir d'y séjourner. Le personnel de la réception est sympathique et serviable. Nous n'avons pas pris le petit-déjeuner, car nous trouvions que 15 € pour une telle sélection de blues était trop cher. Nous sommes allés dans un café à proximité. Mais le petit-déjeuner avait l'air bon, avec juste un petit choix. L'emplacement est très pratique pour poursuivre la navigation. Le quartier, comme toute la ville, n'est pas très agréable : beaucoup de sans-abri ; la nuit, on entend des danseurs ivres par la fenêtre. Mais il n'y a nulle part où aller.

Divani Caravel Hotel delivered a genuine 5-star experience right in the heart of Athens. The hotel is big, spacious, and elegant, offering a very comfortable and luxurious stay. I requested a special surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday at midnight, and the team organized everything perfectly exactly as expected. The attention to detail and care made the moment truly special. We also used the spa and enjoyed a massage, which was excellent and very relaxing. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of options, the staff were friendly and professional, and the small Christmas gift was a lovely and thoughtful touch. The location is excellent, with easy access to all major attractions. Overall, a classy hotel with outstanding service highly recommended for a special stay in Athens.

Lors de la réservation, il était indiqué qu'il s'agissait d'une chambre avec vue sur l'Acropole, et le prix était plus élevé que la moyenne. En réalité, la fenêtre donnait sur la rue et la chambre était située à un étage inférieur (1er étage). Je suis allé au comptoir pour demander pourquoi c'était une chambre avec vue sur l'Acropole, car je ne pouvais pas voir l'Acropole. On m'a répondu que je devais sortir de la chambre pour aller sur le balcon, puis regarder à droite pour voir l'Acropole. Quant à l'absence d'étages élevés, c'était parce qu'ils étaient complets. Le sol suintait de l'eau, le ventilateur était bruyant et l'ambiance était très désagréable, pas au niveau du Grand Hyatt.

Il y a des supérettes et des snacks à proximité, ce qui permet d'acheter facilement de l'eau et de la nourriture. Le quartier est un peu rude, mais calme. C'est parfait pour une voyageuse seule. La chambre était minimalement propre. Il y avait des déchets laissés par le client précédent dans la chambre. Les seuls produits d'accueil fournis étaient du shampoing, du savon et des serviettes ; il fallait donc apporter sa brosse à dents et son après-shampoing. Il y avait des distributeurs automatiques d'eau et de snacks, ce qui était pratique. Le paiement se faisait uniquement par pièces. Pas de bouilloire dans la chambre. Les installations étaient vétustes, et les portes et les serrures nécessitaient beaucoup de force pour se fermer. La climatisation était puissante. La douche était simple, mais l'eau était abondante et toujours chaude, ce qui était pratique. L'Acropole est à environ 30 minutes à pied.

Comme c'était notre lune de miel, c'était notre première réservation et c'était presque parfait, l'emplacement n'était pas idéal car il était à l'écart, mais l'hôtel était très agréable et il avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin.

The exterior of the hotel look inviting; however when we walked through the front door you can feel the heavy curtain around the lobby have not been clean for long time. All the sofa in the lobby are covered with some sort of clothes I guess it is to cover the old and uninviting sight. The check in process was straight forward and friendly. None of the light on the stairs are working and I had to use the flash light on my phone to light a path up and down the stairs, could be dangerous if you need to evacuate the hotel quickly. The room door has key card slot but I guess it is broken as I needed a physical key to unlock the room door and a keycard to turn on the electricity, the room size is good and high ceiling. The bathroom has no hook for the handheld shower head so not so convenient to have a shower, the water also not always hot enough. The air conditioner was blowing warm air even though the dial was set to cold and it made the room so more warmer and uncomfortable to sleep. The hotel reviews seem to suggest this is one of the common issue people has been complaining about for more than 10 years!!!! I ended up open all the windows to cool the room down and this invited traffic noise all night long. The hotel has been neglected for way too many years and surprisingly still in business????
