7.5/10 Location: Outside of “central” Athens but easily connected by metro & buses. Kifisia is gorgeous, safe, filled with high end boutiques, restaurants + cafes. Room/Ambience: Hotel itself is stunning + very relaxing vibe. Decor details incredible as expected of a boutique hotel of this nature.  Food: Very good selection of hot + cold, plus actual barista coffee. Do not expect American style breakfast - this is Europe after all. We did not eat lunch or dinner but the menus looked great and was filled with locals in the evening. Service: Although reception staff were sufficiently friendly, service very lacking for a high end boutique hotel. It was 26 degrees celsius every day while in Athens. Not prior to our stay, nor during check-in did anyone advise us that the pool was closed likely until end of May. This is not advertised on any booking platform, or on the hotel website, which was very disappointing. We sat in the pool lounge chairs for over two hours (staff saw us as the restaurant is immediately adjacent). Nobody offered us pool towels to lie on, or if we wanted to order any drinks or food. My partner had to get dressed, go to reception and ask. They didn’t even offer to clean the pool given the hot weather made it ready for use. It really put a downer on our stay, and why we opted not to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Similar experience at breakfast; nobody offered us coffee orders, we heard someone else order and realised it was available.

L'emplacement est très bon, tous les lieux incontournables sont accessibles à pied. Le service est également très bon et ils fournissent de manière proactive des conseils spéciaux locaux. Je peux le recommander.

This place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example). The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible. Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log. Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 🧺 full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense. Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience.

L'hôtel est classique et propre. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas beaucoup, mais aussi saine et délicieux, très délicieux. On peut regarder la ville de Guardia sur la petite balcone. Le transport est très pratique, la ligne de métro 2 est à 200 mètres de marche à l'hôtel. Très recommandé !

L'emplacement est proche du port, mais le quartier n'est pas idéal. Très bruyant toute la journée, surtout la nuit. Petit-déjeuner au petit restaurant de l'hôtel, mais le personnel n'était pas aimable envers les clients de l'hôtel. Toujours pressé de débarrasser sa table et de la servir pour les clients suivants. Le type à côté de moi est allé chercher d'autres plats, est revenu pour faire débarrasser sa table et est reparti sans couverts – deux fois ! Il est parti sans café, car le serveur a refusé de le servir à table. Finalement

Our first trip to Europe, so there were things that I imagine are very European. Tiny elevators and key card access to power your room were a first for us. We were only there for one night before leaving on a cruise, but overall I was very happy with our stay. The front desk check in was excellent and the breakfast spread was outstanding. The loud returning guest at 1:30 in the morning were the only irritant, and that was bad guests and not the hotels fault.

Un séjour décevant Tout d'abord, les employés ont facturé à plusieurs reprises les frais de chambre et ont donné des descriptions incohérentes de l'argent (heureusement, le service client de Ctrip l'a activement communiqué et loué !) Deuxièmement, les équipements de la chambre n'étaient pas très neufs et la propreté était moyenne (comme le montre le photo). Lors de la communication avec l'hôtel sur les problèmes ci-dessus, l'attitude du personnel de l'hôtel est généralement après s'être mise en colère. Ce n'est qu'avec l'attitude de résoudre le problème que j'ai offert le petit-déjeuner. Quoi qu'il en soit, ce n'est pas particulièrement recommandé. Nous devrions nous concentrer sur l'éloge du service client de Ctrip pour sa grande efficacité, sa résolution active des problèmes et son remboursement des taxes et des frais.

La chambre était propre et avait une fenêtre. Les fenêtres ont ouvertes. Il y avait un nouveau réfrigérateur dans la chambre qui était fantastique et j'ai pu avoir des boissons froides. La salle de bain était petite mais avait tout ce que j'avais besoin. La chambre était nettoyée chaque jour et les serviettes et les lèvres fraîches étaient fournies. Le nettoyeur était très gentil. Il y avait assez de place pour tous mes sacs, il était snig, mais très bon pour le prix. Je mangeais petit déjeuner chaque matin. C'était une très belle chambre à petit déjeuner. Le petit déjeuner est de base mais tout est très frais et bien présenté. Le 1er étage avait un fort bout de tabac et je suppose que c'était le plancher de fumée. Le 4ème étage où j'étais était très calme et je n'ai pas pu fumer du tout. Le personnel de la réception était très aimable et poli. L'hôtel est central, il n'y a qu'une marche de 20 minutes à pied à tous les points de vue d'Athènes. C'est une grande marche aussi! Beaucoup de boutiques intéressantes! Le musée archéologique est à seulement quelques minutes de marche de l'hôtel si bien placé. La ligne principale de la gare est à seulement 15 minutes à pied. Il y a un grand endroit pour avoir un dîner plein autour de l'angle pour environ 12 euros, qui est de grande valeur. J'ai aimé les achats dans la région. Un séjour très confortable je reviendrais certainement. En tant que voyageur de femme seule, j'ai senti assez sûr à l'hôtel. C'est un hôtel de base propre et à un prix budgétaire. Les images jointes sont des choses mentionnées, y compris des photos de la chambre.

Comme c'était notre lune de miel, c'était notre première réservation et c'était presque parfait, l'emplacement n'était pas idéal car il était à l'écart, mais l'hôtel était très agréable et il avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin.

The exterior of the hotel look inviting; however when we walked through the front door you can feel the heavy curtain around the lobby have not been clean for long time. All the sofa in the lobby are covered with some sort of clothes I guess it is to cover the old and uninviting sight. The check in process was straight forward and friendly. None of the light on the stairs are working and I had to use the flash light on my phone to light a path up and down the stairs, could be dangerous if you need to evacuate the hotel quickly. The room door has key card slot but I guess it is broken as I needed a physical key to unlock the room door and a keycard to turn on the electricity, the room size is good and high ceiling. The bathroom has no hook for the handheld shower head so not so convenient to have a shower, the water also not always hot enough. The air conditioner was blowing warm air even though the dial was set to cold and it made the room so more warmer and uncomfortable to sleep. The hotel reviews seem to suggest this is one of the common issue people has been complaining about for more than 10 years!!!! I ended up open all the windows to cool the room down and this invited traffic noise all night long. The hotel has been neglected for way too many years and surprisingly still in business????
