love every part of this hotel, during all my hop on and hop off hotels this past years, this Gumaya hotel has met a good standard in most of aspects, especially the breakfast. im so suprised find hotel that the breakfast food taste delicious in all the stalls (usually will be too salty, too bland or just bleh..) but at gumaya, we are like travelling to each own traditional food restaurant, the authentic gudeg, the very nice lumpia and ikan bandeng, the warm soto ayam semarang and the homemade jamu and juices. all is excellent.

Bonne hospitalité, employés sympathiques et serviables, délicieux petit-déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix, chambres propres et bien rangées, salles de réunion confortables, piscine propre, service avec l'hospitalité indonésienne. Merci à tout l'équipage de KHAS Semarang, vous êtes tous les meilleurs.

The hotel is located inside DP Mall. The room is quite spacious. I could hear the sound of the television from the room right next to mine (quite clearly—I could almost follow the news they were watching). It didn’t really bother me though. They offer 24-hour welcome drinks (only hot drinks like coffee and tea—I was expecting iced coffee). The room is equipped with a smart TV, so you can enjoy your favorite shows on Netflix, Disney+, and more. The staff is warm and friendly. Upon check-in, you’ll need to download an app to get your room key, and an OTP will be sent to your smartphone via SMS for confirmation. I was a bit frustrated since my daily phone uses a foreign number (which couldn’t receive SMS at that time). Luckily, I had my secondary phone with an Indonesian number (though it has terrible battery health). I didn’t know whether they provide a physical key or not (I didn’t ask). Overall, I enjoyed my stay there. Just please provide a physical key (a wooden one maybe, to match the eco-friendly theme).

Le service était excellent, surtout M. Aviet, gestionnaire de service. Je lui ai souligné qu'il n'y avait aucune vue dans ma chambre; le miroir était encrelé et l'eau de tapis s'éclatait quand il s'est tournée. Il est venu immédiatement dans ma chambre et a donné des options pour un changement. Il a échangé mon chambre sur le même étage avec une belle vue le deuxième jour pour le reste de mon séjour. Le petit déjeuner était très répandu et l'équipe de personnel travaillait bien en harmonie. Globalement, une bonne expérience avec un excellent bureau frontal et une F&B.

Comme cela a été mentionné dans mon examen précédent, l'hôtel demain est un hôtel qui offre une très bonne expérience, mais qui est très bien vieillissante. Le séjour était bon Le repas était étonnant, mais je dois dire que dans la classe d'hôtel 4 étoiles au centre de la Samarang il ya beaucoup d'autres choix, donc vous sentez libre de regarder ceux d'abord mais ne laissez pas le nouveautel complètement hors de votre liste.

My fav hotel for staycation in Semarang but this time it’s not my lovely experience. First room I got has leaked aircon, it dripped every second so they offered a new room. In new room, the aircon didn’t work properly but I didn’t want to complain anymore as I didn’t want to change room again and again. Booked with breakfast but they said it’s too few guests on that day so they will just let me choose my breakfast from the menu. Only one menu for each guest. I didn’t like this because the room has no proper table to eat. Even there’s only one chair. So yeah, not my best experience. But maybe I’ll give it another try. This hotel usually offered good service. Maybe just wrong timing and situation for me.

This is my third time staying at Metro Park View and the experience was very good as always. The staff were kind enough to allow me to check in after 12 pm without having to wait until 2 pm because the room was already ready. I was also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade which was really appreciated. The service throughout the stay was excellent. The staff were friendly helpful and professional. Since I stayed during Ramadan the sahur breakfast was also very good with a nice selection of food and everything prepared well and on time. It made the early morning meal comfortable and enjoyable. The room was clean comfortable and well maintained which made it easy to rest after a long day outside. Overall the hotel atmosphere feels calm and welcoming. The location is another big advantage. There is a Ramadan bazaar right next door which is very convenient during the fasting month. Around the hotel there are also many cafes and places to eat so it is easy to find food or just relax outside. Honestly I cannot think of any complaints or negative points about this stay. Everything was smooth and pleasant. If you are visiting Semarang I would definitely recommend booking this hotel.

Tout d’abord, cet hôtel était très bon marché et je ne m’attendais donc pas à grand-chose. Il ressemble à un hôtel qui va fermer ou qui se prépare à une rénovation majeure. Tout a donc besoin d’un nettoyage en profondeur et d’un lifting. Cela dit, comme il est bon marché, il offre en fait un très bon rapport qualité-prix. Le personnel était très serviable, la chambre était sale mais assez agréable et le lit très confortable. J’ai été vraiment impressionné par la nourriture, nous avons dîné à l’hôtel et pris le petit-déjeuner, les deux étaient excellents. Si vous pouvez fermer les yeux sur la « fatigue », je recommanderais cet hôtel.

Nice Stay with Great Location and Local Vibes I stayed at Surya Boutique Hotel Semarang and overall had a pretty good experience. The location is great — super close to both Poncol and Tawang train stations, so it's really convenient if you're catching a train. There's also an Indomaret and Alfamart nearby, plus tons of street food at night. The nasi goreng and bakmi Jawa around the area were seriously good! Not far from the hotel, there's an old mosque built in 1802 is really beautiful and full of history. It’s a reminder that Semarang used to be an important port city, visited by Arab and Chinese traders. Worth a quick visit if you're into cultural spots. The only downside was the receptionist during check-in , she didn’t smile and wasn’t very welcoming, which was a bit disappointing. But later in the day and the next morning, a different receptionist was on duty and she was really lovely and friendly, which made up for it. Breakfast was okay for a 2-star hotel , simple but enough. Just a heads-up: there’s no hot water kettle in the room, so if you need hot water, you might need to ask the front desk. All in all, it’s a good place if you’re looking for a convenient and affordable stay in Semarang with some nice local flavor. Hope they keep improving!
