J'ai récemment eu le plaisir de séjourner au Clontarf Castle Hotel et je dois saluer le service exceptionnel fourni par le personnel, en particulier Marlienna. Lorsque nous avons rencontré des problèmes avec notre chambre initiale, Marlienna a fait de son mieux pour rectifier la situation et s'assurer que nous passions un séjour mémorable et confortable. Le professionnalisme et le dévouement de Marlienna étaient évidents lorsqu'elle a pris le temps de nous montrer des chambres alternatives et de discuter de nos options pour un hébergement plus adapté. Son approche proactive et son véritable souci de notre satisfaction ont vraiment fait la différence dans notre expérience à l'hôtel. Grâce aux efforts de Marlienna, nous avons pu trouver une chambre qui a dépassé nos attentes et nous a permis de profiter pleinement de notre séjour. After I  had made my booking I realised I didn’t have breakfast included as was suggested on my booking information I contacted the Conrad hotel and was told if I added breakfast for two  on then it would be €25 each if I left it until I booked in to add breakfast it would cost €30 each so I obviously booked it for €25 each but when I finally booked in to the hotel I met  a very condescending receptionist who informed me that they don’t do discounts and breakfast was €30 when i explained that it was not a discount she continued to tell me they don’t do discounts and eventually said she would ask her manager and came back with the same information  to me at this point I was so embarrassed that I agreed to pay €30 each but when she finally put the booking through it wasn't accepted which at that point another receptionist came to check the computer and could see quite clearly that I had my breakfast booked for €25 and told the other receptionist that it was clearly signed by an appropriate manager so eventually I got booked in but the breakfast I felt was very disappointing as it was the first time ever I was asked to pay €9 extra for anything extra from the breakfast alacart  menu which meant if I just wanted poached eggs I had to pay €25 plus €9  I was not impressed the whole issue with the payment for breakfast while trying  to book into the hotel and then realising that you had to pay extra for what’s normally on a breakfast menu anyway. No i certainly wouldn’t be going back to the Conrad or recommending it

Dans l'ensemble, c'est un bon hôtel, idéal pour un court séjour. L'insonorisation est un peu mauvaise, on entend tout ce qui se passe à l'extérieur du couloir. Il serait bien qu'il y ait un casier supplémentaire sur la porte, on se sentira beaucoup plus en sécurité.

L'hôtel a dépassé mes attentes. La chambre était entièrement équipée : micro-ondes, réfrigérateur, grille-pain et vaisselle. Le serveur était très gentil et a pris l'initiative de me guider pour allumer la climatisation. Le lit était vraiment dur et je n'y étais pas habitué.

Decent rooms: king size bed and large bathroom with separate shower and bath. Very good breakfast. But on the downside: located a long way from the city centre (around 40 mins journey by bus), a lot of neighbour noise from slamming doors throughout the night, and the TV is poor quality with streaming not available.

We arrived around 5.30pm and stayed only one night. The welcome drink was a nice touch but however in the morning there was lots of banging next door to our room. My husband was up all night with a cold so we hadn’t slept much. When we walked out of our room at 9.30 am to have breakfast the cleaners were sitting in armchairs with their vacuums and cleaning g products. It felt like they were waiting for us to go. When we returned to our room to pack up ( check out is 12) there was a knock at our door at 11.30 by cleaners. It felt like a lot of pressure for us to get out and no privacy as they were siting outside. The staff at breakfast hovered and were on top of us and asked us to order straight away before we even read the menu. The wait for the food was long and my eggs were cold when they came out. There is no lift to our floor so passing the cleaners sitting in armchairs we also passed cleaners sitting on the stairs. The whole experience felt unwelcoming and not private. The hotel it self is well located and beautiful interiors but wouldn’t stay there again. We have stayed at a lot of boutique and 5 star hotels all over the world and this was just average.

Je suis très satisfait de l'hôtel que j'ai réservé à Dublin cette fois. L'environnement et les transports sont très bons et l'expérience est très bonne. Le service de la réception de l'hôtel est très bon et c'est très pratique pour faire du shopping. suite familiale. Elle dispose de toutes les installations et équipements et vous pouvez cuisiner vos propres repas. L'espace d'activité de la cuisine est très bon.

I decided to ditch staying in the city centre based on my below par experiences there on my last trip. When looking on Trip.com, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dalkey was the same price as several dorm rooms in the city centre when I looked. Getting there from Dublin Airport was relatively straightforward. I took and Aircoach from the airport to Dalkey/Ulverton Road and then walked for about 15 minutes. Up to the hotel entrance. The hotel is fairly old fashioned but personally I found it very charming. The staff were well-trained in the art of hospitality, the rooms were clean, locals were in and out of the bar, restaurant and leisure centre. Furthermore, the room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. The tv had a nice range of channels and the bathroom had a working shower and an abundance of towels. One thing missing was a toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit. I was told that you can get slippers on request as well. Get the breakfast. It’s €16 and it’s a buffet style with a delicious selection of hot and cold food. There’s rashers, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, the works. I wish I could’ve eaten more! I loved that they had a wide range of ages working there as well. One of the staff tripped when she went to ask if everything was ok and she said ‘I’m fine, I’m falling for you!’ It was then that I knew that I was home. The leisure centre is one of the best I’ve come across in a while. I’ve stayed in so many places where it’s literally an empty room with a few bits of old equipment but they had loads of weights, treadmills, bikes, etc. They do classes and physiotherapy as well. The pool and jacuzzi were also excellent. Plenty of ages in both as well but it wasnt overcrowded so you’ll get a few lengths in if you want. Lastly, make sure to go for a walk about Dalkey and the surrounding areas. I spent the morning walking down to the Vico Baths, the Forty Foot (both swimming locations) and passed through Dalkey Village. Plenty of people will be out with their family and friends whether it be for a walk, bike ride, swim or a coffee and a chat. Ditch Dublin City and say yes to Dalkey!

Very near to airport. Choose this hotel because of the early shuttle service which gives me ease of mind. The hotel staff immediately arranged a taxi for us free on the house when the shuttle bus did not arrive on time. Very good service!

Nous avons séjourné quatre jours consécutifs et avons passé un excellent séjour. L'hôtel était moderne, le service chaleureux et attentionné, les chambres calmes et confortables, et le linge était posé sur le radiateur de la salle de bain pour que nous puissions porter nos vêtements le lendemain matin. La cuisine était entièrement équipée. Nous avions initialement prévu de prendre le petit-déjeuner à l'hôtel, mais nous avons ensuite découvert un supermarché Tesco à proximité et avons donc préparé le nôtre. L'emplacement était également idéal, à environ 15 minutes à pied de Trinity College et du pont Halfpenny. Dublin n'étant pas très grande, nous avons opté pour une promenade en ville, ce qui était fantastique !
