Had such a great stay at the garage, super scenic spot. The room was just perfect and it was quite a treat to arrive to fresh baked banana bread and chocolate cake the day we arrived. The owner was very accommodating and there to answer any questions. My boys, ages 11 and 13 were able to explore the property up to the waterfall behind the home which was an extra special treat. Especially when her dogs followed us along the trail I think that made their day. We even got to take advantage of the hot tub after our day of hiking. Looking back I would have booked 2 nights here as we really loved it and could have easily stayed 2 days and done some of our tours venturing out from there. .

La chambre était confortable et propre, avec une cuisine pour cuisiner. L'enregistrement s'est déroulé sans problème et j'ai surtout apprécié le paysage environnant, qui semblait être un monde à part. Cela nous a permis de passer une journée inoubliable en Islande.

很容易找到位置，酒店往回開大約20分鐘有超市，酒店乾淨舒適，洗碗機什麼的都有，而且酒店很貼心，安排了小禮物慶祝我們honeymoon！

💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! We stayed twice in this place during pur trip to Iceland. Fantastic place, great host, 100% recommended

La chambre est propre, le service est très bon, le petit déjeuner est bon, la bonne option pour un jour de repos à mi-parcours, il n'a pas été intentionnel de briser un verre de thé que je ne m'ai pas fait payer, oublié de charger l'hôtel de téléphone et de demander à l'hôtel pour aider à trouver rapidement

The host was very helpful, sending detailed driving instructions and information about dining and amenities in the area two days before check-in. The property is a 39-minute drive from Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach

Cette maison de vacances est la plus satisfaisante de toutes les logements en Islande, non seulement dans une bonne position, très proche de la ville de Vick, mais aussi dans un paysage extérieur de la fenêtre! La maison est encore assez chaude, en définitive très bonne, fortement recommandée!

We had a fantastic stay at North Star Cottages. The cottage was clean and well appointed. We arrived to a warm, snug cabin after a day of walking in the rain, and it had everything we needed for a short one night stay. We were a family of four and we brought food to prepare. The kitchen had everything to cook, eat, and wash up. Beds were comfy and the shower was hot. Really great place.

L'hôtel est situé non loin de la route principale et est facile à trouver, les environs sont suffisamment sombres la nuit pour voir les étoiles. Nous n'avons jamais vu de personnel lors de notre séjour de 2 nuits, mais l'enregistrement a été facile car il y avait un téléphone disponible pour appeler le personnel. La chambre est propre mais très petite, après avoir ouvert nos bagages, il n'y avait nulle part où se tenir. La pièce peut vraiment utiliser quelques crochets supplémentaires sur le mur pour accrocher les manteaux et les vêtements extérieurs. La salle de bain est propre mais un peu sombre et l'eau de la douche coule dans le reste de la salle de bain. Il y a très peu d'espace pour mettre des articles de toilette. Il y a un garde-manger à l'étage avec de l'eau chaude, du thé et du chocolat chaud. Il y a aussi une salle à manger et un salon avec une table de billard, ce qui est agréable. Pendant notre séjour, il y avait une tempête folle et toute la maison tremblait à cause du vent, ce qui était un peu effrayant. Les fenêtres de la pièce n'étaient pas étanches à l'air, donc le vent hurlait à travers les interstices. C'était un peu bruyant et froid.
