I had a delightful experience at this retreat, surrounded by stunning scenery. The host was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by offering a selection of delicious pastries and refreshing drinks.

La chambre était confortable et propre, avec une cuisine pour cuisiner. L'enregistrement s'est déroulé sans problème et j'ai surtout apprécié le paysage environnant, qui semblait être un monde à part. Cela nous a permis de passer une journée inoubliable en Islande.

La chambre est 1/4 d'un grand chalet. Il est assez spacieux et le bureau est assez grand. L'égout de cheveux est bon et peut faire du vent fort. Shampoo, la cuisson en verre sont fournis. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et a de nombreuses variétés. La nourriture est chaude. Aurora peut être vue en dehors du coucher.

We have a 1 night stay at Midgard Camp during our 9 days road trip in Iceland. It is our 2nd stop hotel of our trip. Though the room are not big, but it is comfortable, good and cosy enough for all. The family rooms comes with 1 double bed plus 1 bunk bed enough for all 4 of us. The whole place is very vibrant, friendly staff, nicely decorated and energetic yet peaceful and quiet for individual enjoyment. The whole place is very well maintained and It is very clean even the common toilet as I bathe there to avoid waiting for our private toilet to save some time. The common kitchen is for all guests and is well equipped. We cooked our hot meal as well as breakfast there. We can also enjoy the complementary coffee/tea from the hotel paid breakfast. Overall, We enjoy our stay there even though it is just 1 night. The location is easily found with the GPS, you wouldn't miss it. Highly recommended this place. Also, really appreciate the friendly staff giving us a round tour of the place explaining where are the common toilet, hot bathe tub, dryer for our swim wear should we use the hot bathe tub and sauna. This is indeed exceed our expectation actually. 10/10!

💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! L'hôtel est situé sur une route latérale, mais pas trop bruyant. La chambre est très confortable, le lit est un peu doux, mais confortable. Un bon endroit pour l'arrêt.

Hello dear All, My husband booked via Trip.com and we were thrilled to spend time at this cozy little place just for us. However we faced severe difficulties in getting informations to check- in. We called above 15x - no answer!!! We texted on what’s up too and send an email but no information was provided. It was very frustrating and we were severely upset 😔  Once we reached the location homes we searched and knocked doors for help and guidance. Finally I stopped a man driving near us and he asked - can I help you. Once explained our situation he called someone and he said - follow me 😀 we were so relieved from our stressful situation 🙏  we don’t know from which end the problem was?? From the host, or the booking company?? No informations received and no reception once there too. It was a very bad experience. After that another couple arrived with the same problem!!! We felt so sorry for them too. After 9pm there is no one to assist.  We arrived at 8.30pm. Please get back to us - why all this happened?

We had a fantastic stay at North Star Cottages. The cottage was clean and well appointed. We arrived to a warm, snug cabin after a day of walking in the rain, and it had everything we needed for a short one night stay. We were a family of four and we brought food to prepare. The kitchen had everything to cook, eat, and wash up. Beds were comfy and the shower was hot. Really great place.

非常有特色嘅旅店，好有復古味道，自助早餐都幾好味。 出邊嗰個熱水池，對住個景非常靚 但係check-in嘅問題，大家要注意，不是咁簡單

L'hôtel est situé non loin de la route principale et est facile à trouver, les environs sont suffisamment sombres la nuit pour voir les étoiles. Nous n'avons jamais vu de personnel lors de notre séjour de 2 nuits, mais l'enregistrement a été facile car il y avait un téléphone disponible pour appeler le personnel. La chambre est propre mais très petite, après avoir ouvert nos bagages, il n'y avait nulle part où se tenir. La pièce peut vraiment utiliser quelques crochets supplémentaires sur le mur pour accrocher les manteaux et les vêtements extérieurs. La salle de bain est propre mais un peu sombre et l'eau de la douche coule dans le reste de la salle de bain. Il y a très peu d'espace pour mettre des articles de toilette. Il y a un garde-manger à l'étage avec de l'eau chaude, du thé et du chocolat chaud. Il y a aussi une salle à manger et un salon avec une table de billard, ce qui est agréable. Pendant notre séjour, il y avait une tempête folle et toute la maison tremblait à cause du vent, ce qui était un peu effrayant. Les fenêtres de la pièce n'étaient pas étanches à l'air, donc le vent hurlait à travers les interstices. C'était un peu bruyant et froid.
