Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par un personnel extrêmement sympathique à la réception, et notre impression positive s'est confirmée dès la découverte de notre chambre. Incroyablement spacieuse et d'une propreté impeccable, elle était parfaite pour se détendre. Malheureusement, notre enthousiasme a sombré en regardant par la fenêtre. Nous attendions avec impatience la vue sur la mer que nous avions réservée, mais nous nous sommes retrouvés au premier étage, donnant directement sur l'allée principale menant au restaurant. L'absence de vue et d'intimité a été une véritable déception. Les difficultés ont été aggravées par un festival local qui se déroulait pendant notre séjour. La plage était donc impraticable en raison de l'affluence. Pire encore, les fermetures de routes ont rendu le départ de l'hôtel un véritable casse-tête logistique, nous laissant un peu coincés. Enfin, nous avons constaté avec frustration qu'il n'y avait aucun commerce à proximité ni aucune supérette dans l'hôtel. Pensez donc à emporter tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. En résumé, si nous ne pouvons critiquer l'hôtel ni pour sa propreté ni pour la gentillesse de son personnel, notre expérience a été considérablement gâchée par le désordre dans les chambres et le chaos du festival. Ce n’était pas un mauvais séjour, mais c’était loin de l’escapade relaxante que nous avions prévue.

A la beauté de la maison d'hôtes, avec une très confortable location. Dans la chambre incroyable pureté, j'ai reçu sous le lit une couverture de la caméra, car elle dépend de l'angle très lointain, oui sous le lit sans poussière !!!! Oui, par ailleurs, il est nécessaire d'ajouter que la Maison du Vin est probablement la seule à Unavatuna, comme je l'ai vu là-bas des compatriotes qui n'ont pas venu, mais qui sont venus sur tuck-tuck. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at Elaya Resort Unawatuna. The hotel is beautifully designed with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean. The swimming pools and common areas were excellent, making it a perfect place to relax. What made the experience truly special was the warm hospitality of the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The service and staff were amazing — always smiling, friendly, and ready to assist at any time. Their kindness and professionalism made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the breakfast offered a great variety of fresh options. The location is ideal, close to Unawatuna Beach while still providing a quiet and relaxing environment. I highly recommend Elaya Resort Unawatuna to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Sri Lanka. I would definitely love to visit again. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pandanus Beach Resort & Spa, so much so that I ended up extending by two extra nights. I also invited a friend along so they could experience it as a romantic getaway weekend break, and it truly was—wonderful to experience everything through a “rose-coloured lens.” While the resort is undeniably romantic, the real highlight for us was the ocean and beach itself. We were up early to frolic in the sea at sunrise, then we spent unhurried time strolling the shoreline, walking the beach and soaking up the calming atmosphere. We also loved popping over to a nearby beach lunch restaurant, then returning for more time in the sand. And it wasn’t just the scenery—there were also local puppies that made the whole experience feel even more special. We ended up playing with them, laughing, and getting thoroughly covered in sand, which made the days feel playful, personal, and unforgettable. Overall, Pandanus Beach Resort & Spa feels like a genuine romantic couples paradise—especially if you’re the kind of couple (or couple-at-heart) who wants your weekend to be all about ocean magic, slow beach days, and shared moments. 💗🌊🐾

This stay was the highlight of our trip in Sri Lanka. The room is in the heart of nature, and you’re surrounded by the sounds of the wild, fresh air away from the roads, and the peace and quiet that comes with a more intimate stay. Additionally, the breakfasts have been our favourite, especially the hoppers! It was all fresh and Sri Lankan style, served with the jungle in front of us. One morning, we had monkeys. Another, chipmunks. One special night, we had fireflies. The location was exceptional. However, it was Praneeth who really made this place special for us. We had great conversations, and he even recommended me a great birdwatching app. One night, we chatted for a couple of hours and I learned so much about this beautiful country. Genuinely, Praneeth is a huge value to Jungle Loft. He was attentive, thoughtful and a wonderful representation of the kindness Sri Lankan people exude. Thank you so much, Praneeth for your warmth! I can’t recommend Jungle Loft enough. It’s an ideal location, it’s private, it’s beautiful, and you’ll be looked after. Go for it!!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Heritance Ahungalla, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and the fresh juices served upon arrival were very refreshing after the journey. The room was spotlessly clean, tidy, spacious, and well equipped with all the luxury amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere throughout the resort had a relaxing beachside vibe, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We also used the gym, which was properly equipped with a good range of equipment. The resort has two swimming pools, and we spent most of our time at the main pool, which was absolutely massive and perfect for relaxing. The highlight of the stay was definitely the food experience. The dinner buffet was exceptional with an incredible variety of dishes. There were large selections of salads, appetizers, breads and buns, Sri Lankan specialties, international cuisine, and live cooking stations. The seafood and meat variety was especially impressive — including chicken, beef, pork, cuttlefish, prawns, fish, and many other seafood dishes, with multiple preparations for each. My personal favorite was the pork leg, which was incredibly delicious, tender, and flavorful. The dessert corner was huge, offering plenty of choices and beautifully presented sweets. After a very comfortable night’s sleep, we went for breakfast, and honestly, it was just as impressive as dinner. The breakfast buffet included a massive spread with salad stations, bakery items, fresh fruits, Sri Lankan and international breakfast options, live stations, and an amazing juice bar with around 7–8 varieties of fresh juices. They also had a dedicated cheese section, multiple yogurt options, and even 4–5 types of porridges, which was something unique and very well done. Overall, Heritance Ahungalla offers a fantastic combination of luxury, comfort, delicious food, and relaxing coastal ambience. Everything from the service to the dining and facilities was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable beach getaway in Sri Lanka! 🌴✨

Да, шум от дороги, но на третий день мы привыкли, жили в номере 309, которые поменяли с 204, там фактически машины будут ездить перед вашими окнами. Кто чётко спит, обязательно берите с собой беруши. Напротив, через дорогу, есть красивая лаундж-зона, там пару вечеров провожали закат😍 все удобства в номере есть, даже есть телевизор. Когда много гостей в отеле, прекрасный шведский стол. Рекомендую этот отель, если вы цените цена-качество.

The room itself is adequate. The air-con was strong and the shower was good. When I arrived, there was no one there. I opened the gate and walked in. I called the number to the property and the person who answered arrived shortly thereafter. He said no one was there because of the New Year holiday. He showed me to my room. I asked for one in the back, but he said he was having a party and that might be too much for me. After I got settled into a clean room in the front facing the traffic, there was no towel or soap. Late at night after I was asleep, I was startled by someone who began banging on my door and turning the knob several times to get in. I yelled at that person and told him to stop. It did stop and afterward, I felt completely unsafe. I got up to put my heavy suitcase at the door to prevent the intruder from coming in. The staff person had said to me that he was having a party, but then said it was cancelled. There were several men at the property when I returned in the evening. I'm not sure who the perpetrator was maybe it was one of them. There is no peep hole and the windows are frosted. I felt completely vulnerable. I didn't even think to call the staff person because I was frightened and sleepy. My advice is to be cautious if you stay here.
