Had a wonderful stay at Timurbay! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The facilities were excellent, especially the swimming pools and direct beach access. The environment was peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The sea view was beautiful, and the location is convenient with restaurants and attractions nearby. The check-in process was smooth, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway in Kuantan. Would definitely stay here again!

L'emplacement était fantastique, avec une plage juste derrière l'immeuble et reliée à la piscine. L'appartement était propre et conforme à la description (avec réfrigérateur et lave-linge). Cependant, nous avons rencontré des problèmes avec la climatisation. Bien que la direction ait rapidement dépêché un technicien après notre premier signalement, celui-ci n'a pas pu résoudre complètement le problème (la climatisation ne produisait pas d'air froid de manière constante et, la plupart du temps, de l'air chaud). Nous ne nous sommes pas rendu compte du problème car nous avons passé la majeure partie de son temps hors de l'appartement et ce n'est que tard dans la nuit que nous avons constaté la chaleur étouffante qui y régnait (il n'y avait qu'un seul ventilateur dans la chambre avec le lit simple ; les deux autres chambres avec lits queen size fonctionnaient uniquement avec la climatisation). Nous avons de nouveau signalé le problème via WhatsApp et la direction nous a proposé un rafraîchisseur d'air. Malheureusement, nous n'avions réservé qu'une seule nuit et étions déjà en train de quitter les lieux lorsque le problème est survenu.

La vue est exceptionnelle ! Qui aurait cru qu'un hôtel à Cherating puisse offrir un panorama aussi majestueux ? La plage était propre, le personnel accueillant et la villa immense et confortable, bien qu'un peu vieillotte. Les piscines étaient originales et proposaient des en-cas pendant la baignade. En revanche, le parking est assez éloigné des voiturettes, il faut donc compter uniquement sur ce service. Prévoyez un temps d'attente conséquent : on vous a prévenu que cela pouvait prendre entre 5 et 15 minutes à votre arrivée. La nourriture était décevante : des plats classiques comme du nasi lemak, du nasi dagang, des céréales, des viennoiseries, des fruits, des mee hoon, du roti canai et des omelettes.

The past few days in Kuantan, we stayed at Kuantan Imperium Seaview by AVANZEE and honestly, we loved the experience. Check-in was smooth, fast and hassle-free. The security guards and staff stationed near the mail room were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating, making the entire process feel easy and comfortable right from the beginning. Our unit was located on the 7th floor. The room was clean, spacious and beautifully designed with a modern aesthetic feel. It felt like a cozy studio apartment equipped with a simple kitchenette complete with microwave oven, water filter, kettle, refrigerator and kitchen utensils. Hairdryer and iron were also thoughtfully prepared inside the built-in wall cupboard, giving the room a sleek and minimalist appearance. The TV came with Netflix and YouTube, though we barely had time to use them because Kuantan itself has so much to explore. Internet speed was decent too, which is important especially for travellers, foreigners or content creators who need reliable connectivity. The bathroom was modern, clean and well-maintained. Shampoo and bath gel were provided as well. One thing we really appreciated was the sleeping arrangement. Besides the main bed, there were also two very comfortable sofa beds. A family of four can easily stay here comfortably, or even more if travelling with young children. Extra pillows and blankets were also prepared in the cupboard. Location wise, it’s almost perfect. The property is peacefully located slightly away from the busy city centre, yet still close enough for convenience — just across a short bridge. This balance makes it feel like a relaxing seaside escape without being too isolated. The seaside is located directly beside the property and is only a short walk from the carpark. Every morning, we could see locals collecting clams along the shore. Their buckets were filled with white clams and edible sea snails, which was honestly quite fascinating to watch. The facilities here are excellent too. There’s a beautiful swimming pool, wet and dry playgrounds for children, barbecue area and plenty of family-friendly amenities, making it an ideal destination for a family getaway or staycation. But perhaps the highlight for us was the breathtaking view from the room. Being on the East Coast of Malaysia, we were treated to stunning sunrises every morning as the sunlight reflected beautifully across the crystal-clear sea water. Sunset views can also be enjoyed from the opposite side in the evening. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return again — hopefully next time together with the kids and our parents.

This is a Muslim-friendly hotel, located near eateries and a shopping mall. The breakfast spread was good. The pool is kid-friendly, too. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

I recently stayed here for a business trip with four colleagues. We booked five separate rooms, choosing this location based on its competitive pricing and convenient location. While the physical property itself is impressive, the management process left a lot to be desired. The Good: Comfort & Space Rooms: The rooms are genuinely clean, neat, and very spacious. For the price point, the value of the actual living space is excellent. Parking: Finding parking was easy and secure, which was a major plus for our group as we had our own vehicles. Location: Perfectly situated for getting around Kuantan efficiently. The Bad: Maintenance & Missing Basics The property feels slightly neglected in terms of upkeep. In my specific room: The shower head holder was loose, making it difficult to use. There were no floor mats provided, which is a basic necessity to avoid tracking water across the room after a shower. The Ugly: Management & Customer Service This is where the experience fell short. The administrative side of this stay was disorganized and stressful: Automated Communication: Their chat system is powered by an AI that provides ”canned” answers. It failed to address any of our specific questions, making communication feel like a dead end. Check-in Delays: We weren't sent the check-in passwords on time. We had to track down a separate person-in-charge just to get access to our rooms late in the day. Pricing Inconsistencies: The documentation stated a RM50 deposit per room, but we were charged RM60. While the amount is small, the inconsistency feels unprofessional and creates a lack of trust. Final Verdict: If you value space and price above all else, this is a solid choice. However, be prepared to fight for your check-in details and deal with a non-responsive service team. I hope management fixes their communication flow and updates their facilities soon.

My kids enjoy swimming, big pool and kids friendly (especially mini waterpark). We’ve been booked Garden Villa without breakfast, room space just nice for kids below 12yo. Room have mini ice bar, tv, kettle, hanger, wardrobe, iron, iron board & sejadah. Restaurant and shops just nearby the resort. Highly recommended for family vacation.

My recent stay at Timur Bay in Kuantan was truly a delightful experience. The unit felt very cosy and well put together, with everything I needed conveniently available throughout my stay. It was clean, comfortable, and perfectly adequate for my family of five. All tools and equipment provided in the unit were functional, clean, and efficient, which made our stay even more pleasant. The overall environment was neat and inviting, and I felt a genuine sense of ease during our time there. It was clear that attention had been given to the details, and it showed. The facilities surrounding the apartment were also great. It's just a short walk to the beach, where I had the peaceful pleasure of enjoying the morning sunrise while reading the Quran and sipping on hot chocolate—a perfect start to the day. The pool was clean and well-maintained, and the sea nearby is lovely for both swimming and jogging. Security was tight and reassuring, with access to most areas requiring a resident card. This added a sense of safety, especially with kids around. For daily necessities, TMG Express and various local shops, restaurants, and warungs are conveniently located just outside the main gate. The unit itself is ideally positioned to enjoy both sunrise and sunset views, making it even more special. Although the drive to Kuantan town and shopping malls takes about 20–30 minutes depending on traffic, for a holiday or leisure trip, Timor Bay is an excellent choice. For business trips, you may want to consider the commute. Overall, it was a very pleasant and fulfilling stay. I would definitely recommend Timur Bay for families or anyone looking for a relaxing and complete holiday experience in Kuantan.

Resort very strict with the maximum guest for the room capacity. So make sure to comply with the requirements ya. But the check in process if very much different from another resort. Its like you are purchasing a chanel bag and waiting for the sales advisor😍 the check in lobby is at the parking area so they will monitor the in and out guest and the car as well. The villa is so unique and spacious. Perfect for a holiday. However, the restaurant is not a buffet concept where you can take any amount of dish or whatever u want to mix and match the food. But the restaurant staff very good in the etiquette 👍🏻the beach also good but cannot swim ya. Very relaxed enjoy the sounds of waves
