Ideal for families who just want to relax and stay in the heart of Davao City. Near major malls and beside the hotel is the ppark and durian museum. They booked us in the 3rd floor which is very accessible for kids to dive into the pool. Our breakfast was great, we encountered a minor incident but the kitchen manager handled it very well. We will definitely book again soon. The price deal was good also. Thank you, Apo View!

From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. À notre arrivée, nous avons eu un problème avec notre chambre. Elle paraissait très vieille et démodée, la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas et le Wi-Fi était inexistant. J'ai déposé une réclamation le lendemain matin à 8h. Il a fallu attendre deux soirs de suite pour que le problème soit résolu et qu'on nous propose une autre chambre. Cette nouvelle chambre était exceptionnelle. La climatisation fonctionnait. Elle était moderne, plus jolie et moins étroite que la précédente. On pouvait accéder au lit facilement des deux côtés, contrairement à l'autre chambre où le lit était collé au mur. Cette nouvelle chambre était donc bien plus agréable. Le seul bémol de l'hôtel était le Wi-Fi, extrêmement mauvais, voire inexistant. Mais c'était le seul problème que nous avons rencontré durant notre séjour. Tout le reste était parfait, de la propreté au personnel. Le petit-déjeuner buffet était correct, même s'il manquait de choix pour les palais occidentaux. Pour un Philippin, c'était suffisant.

Nice and cozy hostel! The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were very kind. It’s a good place to relax after a long day of traveling. We enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to others. We have moved a couple of times around the hotel for a lot of issues. We settled in on the 6th floor Deluxe in which they only have 3 rooms.

We arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for. When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem. Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate.

The Location of hotel is ok . The hotel itself could do with Room upgrades. Like bed / sheets , bathroom shower & also shower body wash & shampoo was not provided ! There was no bottle water in the room which was disappointing. Staff were very friendly & willing to help .

Je suis resté une nuit (petit déjeuner inclus). L'entrée et les chambres étaient propres et il semblait y avoir peu de bruit provenant des couloirs et des autres pièces. Même si nous ne l'avons pas utilisé, il y avait un jacuzzi au 5ème étage et il semblait que les familles en profitaient. L'emplacement était pratique car il était proche d'un centre commercial. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner était bon en goût et en variété, mais le nombre de places était un peu petit, donc il y avait beaucoup de monde à la recherche d'un endroit pour s'asseoir.

The location is very convenient for me going to the airport, only thing I am disappointed a little bit the shower isn't working 😁 I collected water in a bucket for shower and for brushing teeth 😅. The Electric Kettle won't work either 😔. I hope the staff will check it properly(room 18) . The rest I'm happy for the service. I invited my aunt and my cousin in my room just to get some stuff and they went after I'm glad staff are not so strict. This my my 2nd stay in that hotel next trip I'm still want to book and stay

We stayed at Crown Regency Residences for a week, and overall it was a great choice—especially for budget travelers with kids. One of the biggest highlights was the unlimited pool access until 10 PM every day, which our family really enjoyed. It made a huge difference in keeping the kids entertained without needing to go out and spend extra. The place offers hotel-like service, and the staff were consistently helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. While the building itself does show its age and could use some updates, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. If you’re traveling as a family and looking for something affordable with good amenities, this is definitely a place worth considering. Despite its older appearance, I would still choose to stay here again for a budget-friendly family trip.
