Nice new hotel, but breakfast was disappointing The hotel itself is clean, modern, and clearly pretty new. The room was comfortable and everything felt fresh and well-kept. But the breakfast was really underwhelming — barely any choices, and it felt more like a snack than a proper breakfast. Definitely not what you'd expect from a hotel in this price range. Overall, still a good place to stay if you just need a clean, quiet night — just don't come hungry in the morning.

I have been there 3 times, and the recent one was really 😡. The room is clean, front desk is so warm hearted and everything is perfect except the breakfast service. The first day breakfast is on Friday morning, the Asian girl was so nice and we are allowed to take Starbucks coffee from the fridge which included in our breakfast plan. However, on Saturday morning, the breakfast bar server was a white old lady and she said no Starbucks coffee, I said yesterday was Okay and she answered today is today! I guess she is the owner of this hotel and changed the policy over one night! Besides, she was rude because my one long hair dropped on the check desk and she said “ Your hair!” I was shocked by her reaction! Am I polluted her check desk? ***!

Location was perfect. Facilities other than the room were not used. Service was not good . No regular coffee in the room, no shampoo in the room, no water provided on check-in. Maid came and emptied the trash, changed he bed, and left clean towels, but still did not leave coffee, or shampoo. I did not feel like I was staying in a quality hotel. My husband said we would have gotten better service at a Motel 6. We stayed at this same hotel one month prior and it was perfect. when I complained I was told my last stay was on the executive floors with better amenities . I booked the same type room as before and was not aware the floor level made a difference in better amenities. They also added a resort fee of $20 per night. That was also a change from the month before, and not addressed until check in. We did not use any of those resort fee amenities , so feel we were taken advantage. I have paid these fees at Holiday Inn, but it was only $8. a day not $20.

I had a pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Galveston Beach. The location is excellent, with convenient access to the beach just across the street. The room was very clean, and housekeeping did a fantastic job refreshing it while I was out. One tip for future guests: be careful when selecting your room type if you want a direct oceanfront view. I booked a room described as an ”ocean view” with a balcony, but it overlooked the restaurant next door (The Spot) with only the ocean visible in the background. When I inquired about an upgrade, I was told it wasn't possible because I had booked through Trip.com. Also, please be aware that parking is not free and the lot is not directly connected to the hotel. Overall, it was a nice stay for the price.

The room was overall clean, but when the toilet didn't quite smell right (yuck) and when I looked there was evidence that the area under the rim hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. We were happy with the location being a bit out of town for the price. The staff was great, the upfront push to buy a timeshare was expected and only took about 10 minutes of our time. Overall, we'd stay again but ask that our bathroom be cleaned more thoroughly.

It started out with non-operating elevators. It took two hours just to unload into the room from the car. The next morning I found out that a tree that I parked nearby had dropped sap all over our car to the point the windshield was virtually unusable. It will cost me hundred of dollars to get the sap removed from the car. The next night at about 9:30 PM the fire alarm in our room went off because the neighbors we cooking something next door and required maintenance to come up to the rooms to reset the alarms all while the alarm was blaring. Then since we were booked for 4 nights, the amount of towels provided was never enough. The check-in took way too long as we were subjected to way to much after-sales pitches just to get a parking pass. Then the room keys didn't work and we had to go all the way back to the office to get that fixed. The pool was enjoyable and not too busy while we were there.

L'hôtel est propre, grand, (même la salle de bains), avec une vue sur l'océan Balcon.. Il ne faut que faire attention ( bien sûr) lors de traverser la route de la tête , si vous voulez explorer la plage ... La situation peut être un peu loin du centre-ville, si vous devez explorer plus la ville ... mais il a un parc thématique plus proche, Moody Garden , Ce qui est très bon endroit pour visiter un jour ... Ils ont une transpos prête, fiable, recommandée, si vous avez besoin..

We stayed the weekend. However breakfast was only cereal, waffles, and muffins. Rooms were dirty behind furniture like nothing is moved to clean. There was spilled milk beside the fridge that was never cleaned from before. When checking out attendant did not want to engage. Stayed in a side room doing laundry rather than showing customer support. Just had us leave keys on counter and said we could go. Who does that? Not the best experience for sure.

This is new at this location and its only half a block from ocean.They bought out the otjer good hotel and are on the middle of rebuilding every room so its in a big mess right now.Hard to get rooms here cause only a few have been rebuilt and when they are open they go fast. I was lucky to get a room but I really enjoyed my stay.Its located near ocean and all kinds of fast food restraunts and shopping areas.

The room is very clean and big with full finished. Location is good.
