My wife and I recently escaped to Arendsrus for a quick breakaway, and it was absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a place that feels ”off-the-grid” and immersed in nature without sacrificing luxury, this is it. The setting at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains is spectacular. The wooden chalets offer a sense of total privacy and a ”wilderness” vibe that immediately makes you forget the hustle of daily life. The attention to detail is top-notch, especially the 800-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets—it’s clear the hosts care deeply about guest comfort. The absolute highlight of our stay was the a la carte breakfast served directly to our room. It was delicious, beautifully presented, and allowed us to enjoy a slow morning soaking in the views from our balcony in total peace. The hospitality was warm and genuine, and the entire atmosphere is one of tranquility and refined rustic charm. It truly is a hidden gem on the Garden Route. We left feeling completely refreshed and can’t wait to go back!

Les installations de service sont absolument de première classe, jouer avec les enfants, l'hôtel peut aussi se baigner, nager, beaucoup de maisons dans le restaurant, le prix est raisonnable et le goût est bon. La belle peinture du terrain de golf est recommandée 👍

Such a lovely place to stay, felt so welcome and looked after from the moment I arrived. Will definately come and stay again.

Superbe position avec vue sur la mer. Belle et grande chambre. Le lit est probablement trop court pour ＜ 190 cm. Nous allons rester ici.

Le Premier Inn est situé à l'audition de George. Il est sur une route principale près du théâtre, notre raison de rester là. Il y a un Spur, Panarottis et superette sur la route, ainsi qu'un café à proximité. La chambre était confortable et a été récemment mise à jour.

The room is perfectly clean, with new furniture, mattresses, and bedding. The reception staff is friendly and efficient in resolving any issues. However, I would like to address the room's design, which is very office-like. I believe that a brighter color scheme would make the room more inviting. Additionally, I feel sorry for your staff, as they are treated unfairly. The man outside is forced to stand on the porch all day to open the gate! Regardless of the weather, whether it is hot and sunny or cold and windy, he does not have a place to sit. Why don't you put him in a separate room where he can sit? And put a camera on the gate, so that when he sees a car approaching, he can open the gate. It's a simple solution! Doesn't the receptionist even have a chair? How is that possible? If she's tired or has swollen feet, how can she greet guests? It doesn't matter to the guest whether she's standing sitting. But it matters to her! Take better care of your staff, and they will return the favor! I really hope for positive changes in your hotel and for your employees!

We enjoyed dining at the hotel's restaurant, ordering from the a la carte menu. The food was absolutely delicious - fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. The service was attentive and prompt as well. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at The Wilderness Hotel. The combination of the beautiful natural setting, the hospitable staff, and the excellent dining made for a truly memorable stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a rejuvenating retreat in a stunning environment, close to the beach.

Je n'ai pas pris de photo, je suis désolé ! C'est à environ 10 km de l'aéroport de George, mais ça ne va pas en ville, ça va à la plage. L'hôtel appartenait à l'origine à Hyatt. Pour une raison quelconque, il est devenu un hôtel indépendant. Les chambres ont une vue superbe, avec des chambres avec vue sur l'océan, et l'autre direction n'est pas des chambres avec vue sur l'océan, mais elle fait face au parcours de golf, ouvre les rideaux et les yeux sont verts. Le petit déjeuner était très, très bon, beaucoup de fruits et de sushis ! J'ai séjourné plusieurs fois. Très satisfait
