We paid $200 per night for a deluxe cabin and had to book for 2 nights per park policy. Upon arriving to our cabin, we found mosquitoes inside and killed at least 6. The cabin seems quite old and is in need of repair in a number of areas. The bench top had an area with chunks out of the laminate, walls are cracked in places, the bathroom isn’t completed sealed with a gap between the wall and the floor where you can see the sunlight coming in. My little boy thought the hairdryer on the wall was a telephone and while it may have had the electricity test tag on it, the plate that covers the fan blades has a rusty appearance and has become dislodged. When you turn the hairdryer on, this metal plate rattles. The shower screen that is against the vanity is cracked in a number of places. There was also a spider squashed on the wall in the room with the bunks just dried there and I had to explain to my children that it wasn’t alive and therefore dangerous. We went out for the evening and came back and there were more mosquitoes in the cabin. My husband was up during the night (more than once) turning the light on to kill more as you could hear them buzzing around. In the morning, we all had mosquito bites with one of my children having around 20. The cabin next door had mosquitoes too. There is no playground for children and my little boy didn’t want to ride his scooter on the gravel track. We decided to pack up and leave after the first night due to how uncomfortable everyone was and my little boy was worried about getting even more mosquito bites if he went to sleep. We would not stay here again.
