Camilla House Garden Flat

We had an excellent stay at Blue Seas. The room was very comfortable and quiet and breakfast was excellent. We especially appreciated Fiona’s detailed knowledge of the area as we were tracking down some family history. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

This was my first stay at Blue Seas and it certainly will not be my last. From the minute I arrived Fiona and Arnaud were lovely and made me feel very welcome, they are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The room was beautiful with a fantastic sea view and everything was so beautifully decorated making the whole place cosy, and the lovely touches of hand made biscuits every day and a bar of chocolate on arrival were so nice, not to mention the selection of teas and coffee in the room. As for breakfast what can I say, it was superb, with homemade cereals and marmalade, not to mention the pastries, and so many options to pick from with the cooked breakfast. On the day before I travelled home I requested a pickup and again it was amazing with homemade bread with a delicious filling, and cake and bottled water, fruit and a chocolate bar. I can’t recommend this lovely B&B enough, if I could give ten stars I would. Thank you both for a lovely stay and I will be returning.

A really beautiful bed and breakfast to stay that goes the extra mile, our room was so comfortable with homemade biscuits plus chocolate, all natural products used in the bathroom. The breakfast was amazing so much choice and all cooked from scratch with the best ingredients plus a buffet that has it all and all local produce. The hosts are lovely and we would thoroughly recommend this place it was such a joy to stay there best nights sleep I’ve had for years

Fiona and Arnaud go above and beyond as hosts. The garden and lounge are welcoming. The room was meticulously clean with nice touches like a window seat, plenty of storage space and a little package of cookies left for us each day. The breakfasts were excellent and offered exceptional variety. Fiona provided us with useful information from the moment she greeted us to the morning we left. Fiona and Arnaud make an effort to get to know their guests and to ensure that their stay is the very best.

It was an unforgettable stay right from the start. Due to our flight from the U.S., we had to arrive after-hours to the Blue Seas hotel and Arnaud was there to greet us with a smile and assistance with our bags. The service, food, accommodations, advice on things-to-do, and conversations with other guests were 5++ stars. The value for what we paid nightly, far exceeded our original expectations (which were high to begin with!). Although we had some expected rain during our visit to Cornwall, it didn't dampen our spirits. We look forward to our next stay at the Blue Seas Hotel and rekindling our friendship with Fiona and Arnaud.

First class from the start, Excellent breakfast, very nice selection, would recommend Blue Seas Hotel to any one going to Penzance to see St Michaels mount and Bamburgh castle. Thank you Artaud & Fiona for a great stay. Elizabeth and Alan Somerset
