"A decent hotel but personally not worth the price. The bar was constantly closed and we had to ask the front desk just to make a coffee, even over the weekend when you think they would want to make money. Location is no man’s land with some groceries and a highway next to you VERY far from center. WiFi was ok, some issues going out and in. The pool was the highlight as we had it to ourselves for both days. Room cleaning was nice and prompt, what we would expect. Personally both days we woke up with horrible allergies likely from their poor ventilation system. Could not open windows due to a sign from hotel suggesting Beatles would get in seasonally. Not justified for the price, just ok."

Borgo Dei Conti Resort Relais & Chateaux

"Just returned for 4 nights at this lovely hotel after its long renovation. I was traveling with my wife and adult daughter and we had two rooms. We booked our rooms through Amex fine hotel and resorts which included free breakfast and room upgrade. I had booked executive room for my daughter and her upgrade was to a slightly higher category room with a small viewing room up a flight of stairs. Our room was a deluxe suite and we were given a patio suite as an upgrade. The rooms were both very nice. Our suite was huge with small patio and very nice bedroom and living room. The decorations were lovely. The biggest issue of the room was the air conditioning. During our visit it was quite hot and the a/c in our suite room could not cool the room to a comfortable level. The manager of the hotel was very apologetic and brought us a fan to help and assured us they would address the issue after we left for future guests but the lowest we could get the room at night was 76 to 77 degrees which was too hot for us to sleep. My daughter’s room cooled to about 70 her room was better in that regard. Additionally I found the mattress to be too firm but my wife and daughter felt it to be comfortable. Other positives were the staff were all friendly and the manager really tried to help make our stay enjoyable. The grounds were lovely and the pool was the perfect temperature. We had breakfast every day which was nice but not quite to the level I expected given the cost of the rooms but still very good. Dinner by the pool was very good with excellent pizza and pasta. We also had dinner at Cedri which was a big disappointment. We did the chef tasting meal for 155 euros per person. The dinner service was quite slow with meal taking almost 3.5 hours. The food had a few good courses but several courses were not very good. They did have an excellent wine list at reasonable choices. For the price and service at Cedri I would not recommend eating there. Overall, the resort is lovely and a beautiful setting. Had the air conditioning worked I would have enjoyed our stay but 4 sleepless nights in the heat really put a damper on our experience. If you could be confident the air conditioning was fixed I would not hesitate to recommend this resort. Given the managers eagerness to make guests happy, I think he will get it working and maybe with more time and training Cedri will improve. The area of Umbria is quite lovely and the hotel is a good base to explore perugia, Assisi, Spello etc. Don’t miss having dinner at Lillo Tatini in Panicale. It is close by and a great experience."

"Nous avons séjourné 10 jours dans ce bel hôtel. Bien qu'au milieu d'une zone commerciale/industrielle, c'est un endroit paisible et très vert. Une fois dans l'hôtel, on est dans un petit cocon. Il y a un parking gratuit. Le personnel est adorable, tous à leur niveau font tout pour qu'on se sente bien, un grand merci à eux. Les chambres sont confortables, spacieuses, bien aménagées (airco, frigo etc), nous avions également un petit jardin sans vis à vis. La salle du petit déjeuner est moderne et lumineuse. Le petit déjeuner est de qualité et varié, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Le restaurant magnifique et dans un cadre champêtre est à 30 mètres de l'hôtel, menu 3 services servi à table, c'était excellent! La piscine n'est pas grande mais c'est suffisant, il n'y a pas de courses aux transats, ce qui est un soulagement. Le bonnet de bain est obligatoire et j'ai cru à une contrainte mais en réalité c'est super de ne pas avoir de cheveux flottants! Les petits bémols: l'insonorisation, un peu comme dans tous les hôtels. Je trouve dommage qu'on puisse fumer autour de la piscine, beaucoup d'hôtels ne le permettent plus et c'est plus respectueux de tous, surtout quand vous avez un gars qui fume les cigares de Columbo ! J'ai pas trop compris le concept de ces groupes de personnes qui ne séjournent pas à l'hôtel mais qui viennent profiter de la piscine. De manière générale, je recommande l'hôtel qui est très bien situé, proche de tout en voiture bien sûr. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances!"

"After a long time without taking a vacation, I had chosen this property online, which already looked promising from the photos. Already after the first phone calls for the reservation, the kindness and professionalism of Mrs. Francesca made me anticipate the future stay. On the day of check-in, everything represented in the photos materialized before my eyes: a wonderful Nature with a dense forest adjacent, a lawn and various flowering plants that surround the property. The additional surprise was the terrace in front of the hall from which you have a spectacular view of Perugia and where we had breakfast every morning. Every day that we visited a location we returned to the property to rest before dinner; it had become our oasis of peace ... in fact, to tell the truth, more than one morning we risked being late for breakfast due to the excellent night's sleep. Cleanliness, friendliness but above all experience and professionalism are guaranteed! As I specified in the title, unlike many misleading photos of locations here we had a truly satisfying experience and we will definitely return if we ever come to Umbria again. See you soon 👋👋🤗"

"L'hôtel est bon, il ne faut que plusieurs réparations. Il s'agit de serviettes rasées et écrasées, portes écrasées, etc. Les serveurs sont sympathiques et éduqués, mais peu importe combien de bagages vous arrivez, il n'y a pas de gentleman pour vous aider ni appeler l'ascenseur. Le petit-déjeuner est le plus important, très vaste et appétit."

"the worst hotel in Perugia with poor service - situation from 16 years ago about the morning of departure we pay for the week as agreed with breakfast in the morning and that's it... over 500 euros we added 4.50ct, only because one morning instead of going down at 8.00 to have breakfast we went down at 8.30 and so they made us pay only because the waiters had cleared the table.. poor starving people.... HOTEL HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!"

"Right in the middle of old Perugia, great position. The room was clean and large - lots of it utilised by the large bathtub and sauna. Double sinks were nice, as was the rainwater shower and friendly welcome. We had the double room (#3) with a queen bed but wouldn’t classify it as a suite or apartment as advertised. The kitchen was a small refrigerator, coffee machine, and a double hob - with minimum cutlery and cooking pans. (No oven or microwave). The wash machine was shared with all apartments in a room down the hall - again not as advertised - but modern and efficient. We stayed three nights and our room was never cleaned, clean towels not offered and no replenishment of coffee and tea supplies (which were minimal to start with). It was also quite loud out our window with the restaurant across the lane way - the only night we got undisturbed sleep was when the restaurant was closed on Sunday. At around 140 Euros per night, we felt like our room wasn’t the best value, although we certainly enjoyed staying in the heart of Perugia village."
