We booked a deluxe king with balcony. Sounds great! We were in Room #1, second floor (stairs are dark & steep.) Balcony door is in the bathroom. Huh? Didn’t expect that. Sounds better in print “with balcony.” Bathroom has zero space to put toiletries. Inside eating area is dark, front seating area lighter but limited due to numerous house plants. Check in is 3:00pm, we got there at 2:00. Rang ring camera bell couple of times, no answer. Maybe room not ready but no response? That makes it feel more like an Airbnb than like a welcoming inn. We’ve stayed at many bnb’s. This one is close to town yes but better options may be worth checking out.

We had the king room without a view. Very reasonably priced. Super cute room with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The details in the house were wonderful. Breakfast was fantastic and Stephanie made me a dairy free egg dish that was so delish! Everything was great down to the coffee. We did not have a balcony but we sat on the dock with a drink. There are also some tables on the deck to share that are not private room decks. Stephanie has botanical garden tickets that don't need an entry time. We had a reciprocal membership so we used that and did not need an entry time. We also got a suggestion for a walk on the neighboring point by the lady who checked us in. The garden and flowers are amazing around the house, lots of gardening skills by Stephanie.

Quaint, well -prepared, large room in a house directly on the water. Useful, sunny balcony. Very helpful host. Excellent breakfast shared with the other guests in a communal setting. Convenient location in central Boothbay and very close to Costal Maine Botanical Gardens.

Delicious breakfast with fruits, homemade quiche, frittata and muffins. Excellent location with beautiful view of the harbour. The bed was too soft for us, but the bedroom was clean and beautifully decorated. Just annoyed we paid nearly 100 dólares extra as we booked in advance. Highly recommended for the older generation

What a lovely spot! Stephanie was the perfect host! Very comfortable and cozy! The bed was devine and the view was soothing. The town is very walkable with much to see and buy. The sub shop has the most delicious rolls, baked daily. If you should always visit Sherman's book store!

Delicious breakfast all home made from scratch. Afternoon sweet with coffee or tea. Comfortable beds with lovely linens and full bathrooms. Location cannot be beat- 2 minute walk to center of Boothbay harbor yet quiet at the Inn.we have been in the summer and over Christmas and will continue to go year after year !

Building is charming, as is our innkeeper. The experience was all we could have hoped for. Warm cozy bed and furnishings, good coffee and a wonderful breakfast. Walking distance to a wonderful restaurant. We would absolutely stay here again.

We tacked on a couple nights at Boothbay Harbor on our way north in Maine - and are sure glad we did! Although it was cool, drizzly, and off-season, the coziness of the Harbour Towne Inn made the trip worthwhile all by itself. The room was charming and the downstairs living/dining room was a comfy place to hang out and read the paper before heading out to see the Maine Maritime Museum. Stefanie was a great hostess and prepared amazing breakfasts for us each morning. These alone were worth the trip!

Everything about our stay was perfect! Stephanie and her staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Delicious breakfast to start us off for the day and freshly baked cookies at the end of each day was one of many nice touches that she added. We will definitely be back!
