I stayed at this hotel in May 2023. It was a decent place. Not that far away from the airport and the early morning breakfast was ideal for a passenger who just flew into the city at night with a packed schedule in the next morning.

The desk clerk on my early arrival was helpful, getting me a room within 30 min or so. That's about the best I can say besides it's fairly close to the airport and cheaper than most nearby, which may be the issue. The final flight path is about 1/4 mile away and between that and rooms on the highway side, there's noise. And: The room wasn't serviced during my 2 night stay. Attempting breakfast at 8 am found nothing much there. Rusty shower door, damaged shower valve, stained toilet walls and stained carpet. Posters for a dinner special of a frozen Hungry Man entree w/soda, chips & ice cream cone for $12 in the elevator. However, the AC worked well. There are many hotels near the airport, try another.

It took 4th try to get someone on the phone to request for shuttle service from PHX airport. The room we stayed was clean, but the toilet got clogged and when we asked for help, the person at the counter just handed plunger over to us. We were there as a vacationer, not to work. Thank goodness we were only there overnight. Even if it means to pay extra, choose elsewhere with higher ratings, reputable places to stay.

This has to be the most disgusting hotel I have stayed at, Ever!!! The 1st room when we checked in the shower door feel off when we were just checking in & settling in, my husband immediately went to the front desk, no apologies just handed a new key. Second room we went into, was just as dilapidated, and falling apart. Thank goodness we were only there for 12 hours before we fly out. My recommendation do not book here HORRIBLE! So much needs to be done to this place, should be condemned . Sorry I even had to give it a one UGH!!

I will give a negative rating if I could. Disgusting, dirty, terrible! Carpets were dirty. There is mold in the bathrooms! The toilet was leaking and making noise the whole night. When I ask the front desk to fix it, they dismissed it and did nothing. The breakfast was disgusting and the breakfast room was dirty. I was put there by American airlines, who definitely does not care about their customers. This place should be closed by the Phoenix health department. I hope I don't get sick because of mold exposure.

This is a basic but surprisingly decent hotel close to the airport. Room was fine, clean, comfortable bed, TV with a lot of English and Spanish channels through DirecTV. Did not use the airport shuttle so I can’t speak to that.the pool area is quite nice, quiet, lots of palm trees and a warm hot tub. Laundry was east to use and reasonable. Less than $3 to do a load of laundry. Location right off of university means you’re close to ASU and the airport, but if you don’t have a car, you will need to Door Dash food. There’s no where walking distance to eat at. Aldo the “hot breakfast” they advertise is BS.. it’s cereal, bagels, oranges, yogurt. Like you’d get at the super 8. When I asked they said “hot” means that they have a waffle marker. Wow. Their web site shows scrambled eggs and sausage etc. I can assure you that the only eggs you will see there are hard boiled ones. Staff thought is nice enough and try to help when they can. Internet is lousy. It just doesn’t stay consistent. That’s a downer. Overall though I would stay again because of the price and because the grounds are well kept

Do Yourself a favor and ***DO NOT*** stay in this hotel! They rip people off! It is clearly family owned facility that does not care about hospitality and regulations or repeat customers! We had a 10h layover in PNX so we looked for a nearby & inexpensive place to spend the night with an airport shuttle. There were no shuttles available after midnight. We had to pay $23 Uber one way. We booked the hotel at 12:33am and upon arrival the front desk person refused to check us in, unless we pay $47 "early check-in " fee. They stated that their check-in time is 3pm. Our flight was leaving at 9am. They can rent the same room multiple times in a day and they are very aware of that, nevertheless trying to make extra money with "early check in fees"! The room was in extremely poor condition, very dirty carpet, leaky shower, smelly pillows. Horrible breakfast with overcrowded kitchen space. No place nearby to buy basic supplies or water. We wish we spent the extra $85 and stayed at the Hilton across the street.

WARNING TO SENIOR CITIZENS---BE AWARE of booking hotels with any CHOICE HOTEL PROPERTIES------ We are a retired couple on a fixed income who booked a room at SLEEP INN Phoenix Sky Harbor. Our flight from MSP was so delayed we couldn't use the room. We cancelled as soon as we were able so they could resell it. Because it was not 24 hours in advance they denied a refund!!! It seems so unfair---none of this was our fault! BEWARE OF CHOICE HOTELS AND THEIR CANCELLATION POLICIES!

I just returned from a weekend at The Sleep Inn-Sky harbor. It was a disaster. First, do not stay on a weekend. I was told repeatedly that because it was the weekend, no help was available. Avoid Room 302. The bathroom door (a pocket door) was stuck ajar, and would not close-or open. There were paint chips everywhere (from the door) and broken screws on the floor. I told disinterested desk staff about it-they said "someone would look at it." That someone was me. I finally asked for a trash bag, vacuum, and fresh towels. I emptied the trash, bagged the old towels, and showed a maid ("they've gone home for the weekend") the floors and she simply shook her head and picked up most of the mess. Another man in front of me at the desk said that there were long hairs in the bed-(he was bald, his wife had short hair) and he didn't think fresh linen was used before they checked in. A very dirty, unhelpful hotel, clearly little maid service -and not cheap enough to warrant it's reputation. Will try to get this word out to others. Tiles off in the elevator, a sad breakfast, and yet-it was a full hotel. Beware. This place is to be avoided.

I booked a package with a room for one night and airport parking for three nights (with ParkSleepFly). Check-in and parking my car went well, the room (301) was clean and comfortable, and the hot breakfast item was nice. I couldn't understand why this place got such bad reviews... until I came back from my trip. My flight was very late, so I called ahead to book a room (instead of picking up my car that night). The booking process was fine and the price was good. But when I called from the airport for a shuttle, the trouble started. First, I couldn't get through: The phone system would route me to nowhere, or ring and repeat the greeting over and over. Eventually I got someone who said a silver shuttle with "Sleep Inn" on the side was on its way. Google Maps said the hotel was 7 minutes away, so I called after half an hour. The shuttle was so busy that they hadn't reached me yet, or whatever excuse... wait ten minutes (or whatever) and it will come this time. I called a couple more times during that first hour; no luck. I was getting nauseous from breathing exhaust for an hour, so I came inside. The silver shuttle had become a blue shuttle with "Sleep Inn" on it because there were so many guests with delayed/cancelled flights that they needed a bigger van. The last I heard, a shuttle would be there in five minutes. After 15 minutes, I gave up and paid $25 for an Uber. When I got to the hotel, the clerk said that many guests don't realize that the blue shuttle has "Hampton Inn" or something on it (instead of "Sleep Inn", as I'd been told). I had watched traffic for over an hour, and no hotel shuttle from *any* hotel had rolled by. To top it all, the room (on the first floor; I forget the number) was dirty, with scarred carpet and scuffed walls, down a grimy hallway. I guess the reason this place was cheaper than other hotels with parking packages is that... you get what you pay for.

The room was comfortable -- especially the king-size bed -- and completely quiet except for low roars from the airplanes nearby. The heater/AC had a "continuous fan" switch which prevents the noise of it turning on and off. I booked a room+parking package (searched online for "hotel parking near Phoenix airport" and chose a booking site); that rate was lower than the TA price for the room alone. The shuttle runs every half hour; you need to book it ahead of time (maybe call ahead if you're flying out the same day you arrive at the hotel). The shuttle serves two hotels. The trip to the first terminal took about five minutes. I would definitely stay here again.

Up until my return the experience was reasonably good but due to extremely poor service related to the hotel airport shuttle I have no choice but to rate my overall experience as extremely poor. As directed, I called the hotel once ready for pickup at the PHX airport. I was told the shuttle would pick me up in the next 10-to-15 minutes at the courtesy shuttle pickup area. I waited 25 minutes then called the hotel to find why the shuttle had not yet came by for pickup and the hotel clerk stated that the driver would be contacted to find out where they were. After another 10 minutes and still no shuttle, I called the hotel yet again. I was told that she spoke to the driver and that he would pick me up in just a few minutes. Another 15 minutes elapsed and still no pickup so again I called the hotel. This time the clerk tells me that the driver claimed to have stopped to pick me up 3 times so far, which of course he had not so I double checked with her the specific pick-up location which confirmed I was in the correct place and then I asked her to confirm that the shuttle was the Choice Hotels Sleep Inn van that they used to bring me to the airport at the beginning of my travels and at this time she stated that "oops, our van is in the shop so the driver is using a van labeled "Hampton Inn. What the heck! Why would I not be clearly informed right up front, and during each of my subsequent phone calls to the hotel, that I needed to watch for a van labeled with a different hotel brand? And why didn't the driver, who was repeatedly told that I was waiting for pickup, get his lazy butt out of the van and announce that he was picking up passengers for the Choice Hotels Sleep Inn? Pathetic customer service! I still had to wait another 15 minutes before the shuttle returned. In the end, I stood outside in the Phoenix heat for more than an hour waiting for pickup when it should have happened in no more than 15 minutes. So very disappointed!

This hotel was a total disappointment. They advertise a pool and a hot tub but they are locked and it looks like they haven't been used for quite a while since it was dirty water. The carpet had really sticky stuff all over it and my foot stuck to it when I was walking before I noticed it. My shower door would not close so I could not take a shower. The back security door was broken and wouldn't lock the side security door was broken and it was locked so you could not use it in an emergency to exit the building. I did the survey from Choice Hotels and I got back an email from the manager saying we're sorry we did not exceed your expectations I wouldn't call not be able to have a shower exceeding it's not even meeting my expectations. Originally I had a hotel in the area for $12 more I should have kept that.

Me quede a pasar una noche en este hotel. El hotel es muy sencillo y básico pero suficiente para una estancia corta. Muy buena localización por estar muy cerca del aeropuerto de Phoenix. El personal del hotel agradable y correcto en todo momento.
