A Complete Disgrace – Diamond Plus Member Treated Like Trash
As a Trip Diamond Plus member, I’ve spent hundreds of thousands of dollars annually on hotels around the world. I know what good service looks like, and this hotel is nowhere near acceptable — not even close. Here’s why this place deserves zero stars:
1. Blatantly Unprofessional Staff: I was accused of a late checkout at 11:10 AM, when my confirmed checkout time was 12:00 PM. Even after escalating it to management and proving my case, the receptionist refused to apologize. Unbelievable arrogance. If this is how they treat their most loyal customers, imagine how they treat everyone else.
2. Filthy Pool – a Health Hazard: The swimming pool was disgusting. Dead bugs floating, piles of leaves, and trash clearly visible. It was so dirty I wouldn’t let anyone near it. An absolute disgrace for a place claiming to be a hotel.
3. Trash-Strewn Beach, Useless Lifeguard: The beach was a mess — plastic bottles, wrappers, and no one doing a thing about it. The so-called “lifeguard” was inattentive, distracted, and clearly didn’t care. Safety? Not even on their radar.
4. Dangerous Road Conditions: The road leading to the hotel was like an off-road track. Broken pavement, unpaved sections, potholes everywhere. Total lack of care for guest access or vehicle safety.
5. Broken and Unsafe Balcony Area: The room’s balcony had cracked, uneven flooring and felt unsafe to even stand on — especially dangerous for families with kids. Clearly no maintenance has been done in a long time.
6. Shockingly Rude Staff Throughout: From check-in to checkout, the staff were impolite, dismissive, and cold. Zero sense of hospitality, no customer care, no accountability. Honestly insulting to experience this level of service as a high-tier member.
Final Verdict: If this hotel doesn’t value loyal, top-tier guests, they don’t deserve to be in business. I wouldn’t return here if they paid me. Save yourself the disappointment.
