Relaxia Los Girasoles

Fantastic apartments. Immaculately clean. Very comfortable & stylish. Lovely pool and pool bar. Staff friendly & helpful. Great location. 5 mins to local bars & restaurants. 15 mins to the beach. Loved it... would recommend.

We have stayed at the Relaxia Los Girasoles many times and would recommend these wonderful bungalows to anyone. The large pool is one of the best we have come across and the surrounding landscape is well maintained. They are situated close enough to the Yumbo Centre to be convenient but also close to other shops, bars and restaurants in the opposite direction. Relaxia is the operative word - the moment you arrive, the staff make you feel like family and can't do enough for you.

We stayed during the first week of September and had a wonderful time. With the bungalow formula, you get a clean and modern place equipped with a small kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom with shower and sink, and in our case, a separate toilet. We spent most of our time on the little terrace in front of the bungalow, which was very cozy. Everyone was extremely friendly – from the reception staff to the pool bar and the cleaning team. Towels and sheets were replaced regularly, and the cleaners not only refreshed the place but also tidied up. The pool was well maintained and cleaned regularly. There’s also a lifeguard on duty during pool hours, although the pool does close at 18:00.

Beautiful little resort tucked away , everything you need in the bungalows smart TV on the wall air conditioning in bedroom small little kitchen. Patio area to sit in the evenings and have a drink or to sunbathe in the day. Lovely pool area with plenty of sun beds to relax on. The reception team are so helpful with anything you need. Would definitely recommend this resort for location and relaxation.

I have visited Playa del Ingles many times over the years. The first time in 1998 when I stayed on the Santa Barbara Bungalows complex not far from Los Girasoles. On every visit since, we have stayed in an apartment block or hotel. We decided to visit both Gran Canaria and Lanzarote on our most recent holiday. When looking for accommodation my only prerequisite was that we stay on one of the many bungalow complexes for our stay in Gran Canaria. The Relaxia Los Girasoles was a complex I had seen whilst walking around on previous visits, but I had never been inside the complex. We found a very good deal for four nights through *******. Looking up the reviews and recent images, I didn't take long to ponder any other options and happily booked. We arrived for our short stay on the evening of Friday the 30th of May. I had put a request in the booking notes for a pool view if possible, but having seen the layout of the complex on Google maps, I knew it would be unlikely as only around eight of the bungalows in the whole complex look directly onto it. We were greeted by a very nice lady who completed all our check-in formalities, gave us some information about the complex and our bungalow. We were allocated bungalow 17, which although didn't look directly onto the pool, it could be seen if looking sideways from our front garden. We were issued two key cards. You will need to use one to activate power inside the bungalow. These bungalows appear to be newly renovated/decorated. We both really liked the modern and bright furniture and fittings. Upon entry, you are in the lounge/dining area which has a large sofa/bed, armchair, dining table and chairs, a small amount of storage, wall-mounted tv with a few English Speaking channels, including BBC1. There was a small and very well formed kitchenette which had a small hob, wall-mounted convection microwave, sink and fridge. The fridge did not have a freezer section so we were unable to have ice or ice creams. The kitchen despite its small size was really well equipped with good quality crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils. It actually felt a little more high-end than the price point we had paid. The bedroom at the back was quite large, the adjoining bathroom had double sliding doors which when opened made the bedroom feel like a large bedroom/bathroom suite. The toilet was sectioned off in its own cubicle with a solid door. Again the whole feel was a little bit luxurious, very modern with light decor and some different lighting options. The air-conditioning unit was located in the bedroom which was great at night, I do like a cool room to sleep in, and this was possible due to the highly effective and included air-conditioning. All the windows had adjustable mosquito screens apart from the main door into the bungalow, so if you do not like air-conditioning, you could open the bedroom and kitchen windows and get a natural through draught instead.
