Villa Flavia Heritage Boutique Hotel ★★★
"Everything was wonderful! The hotel is a real gem and the best place we have ever stayed. Remarkable customer service, perfection in the level of service, impressive presentation, thought and perfectionism in every detail. Admirations!"
DoubleTree by Hilton Plovdiv Center ★★★★
"Stratégie hôtelière située près de la vieille ville de Plovdiv. Il est très pratique de se promener à pied pour explorer Plovdiv. La chambre d'hôtel est grande, toutes dans de bonnes conditions. Si j'ai la chance de visiter Plovdiv à l'avenir, il reste certainement à nouveau."
A&M Hotel with Free Parking ★★★
"Hotel is located right beside the train and bus station, making it a perfect base when visiting Plovdiv from Sofia/Istanbul. It is also a 15-20 minute walk to the old town and feels safe even at night."
Hotel Gallery 37 ★★★★
"The rooms here are spacious and bright, elegantly decorated and have an artistic atmosphere. The breakfast is particularly rich. The service staff is very enthusiastic and introduces the humanistic environment here. Two minutes walk out, it is the famous Ancient Theater."
Plovdiv City Center Hotel ★★★
"This hotel is a great value in the heart of the old city. The rooms are comfortable and a kettle, coffee and tea are provided. Very modern rooms in one of the oldest buildings in the city. Easy walk to restaurants, stores train and bus stations."
My Guest Rooms ★★
"We had a comfortable room with lots of hot water in the shower within walking distance from the station and the center. There were many shared facilities like a kitchen area with coffee/tea (paid), seating area and smoking area. We didn't find the listed washing machine and there was no fridge in the room. There was no reception, and communication re early check in and/or bag drop was difficult. The toilet area was always wet because of there was no separate shower area or shower curtain."

Ramada by Wyndham Plovdiv Trimontium
"Bon emplacement, mais frais de stationnement ㅠㅠ Vous devez vous soucier de frais de stationnement."
Park Hotel Sankt Peterburg
"This is a large hotel, located somewhat far from the city center, so having a car is advisable (if not essential) to get there. On the other hand, it has free parking right in front of the hotel, which is very convenient for coming and going, although the first time you arrive it's a bit confusing since there's a barrier and nowhere does it indicate that it's the hotel's parking lot. You have to take a ticket and drive through as if it were a public parking lot, and then at reception they validate the ticket each time so you can leave without having to pay. The hotel is in a tall, large building with a "Soviet" style aesthetic, lacking any charm, despite being quite nice. The same was true of the room: very large, functional, it had everything necessary, it was on a high floor with a view... but without any charm! The hotel was half empty, if not almost completely empty, which also seemed strange. The staff were very polite, but lacked initiative. For example, upon arrival we asked about the pool, and they showed us where it was, but when we went down to swim, they told us it was already closed for maintenance at 6 pm... in the middle of August! Even so, the best thing about the hotel, at least in summer, is undoubtedly the pool (which is why we chose it, as it was very hot at midday). There were few people there, and the surroundings were rather unattractive, although the pool itself was huge and very pleasant. Breakfast was fine, nothing special. On the second day, we were the only couple at a table in the dining room, and they served us breakfast à la carte because they hadn't even set up the buffet. I suppose it was because there weren't enough guests. The overall impression was that the hotel was operating at half capacity, or as if it were about to close soon, or perhaps not, but a hotel of this size with so few guests gave a somewhat sad and run-down feel. In short, it's a good place to stay while visiting Plovdiv, if you have a car or other means of transport, but it lacks any real charm."
Plaza Hotel Plovdiv
"This is a great little hotel with the most wonderful staff. Within minutes of arrival I injured my hand in a freak accident. Ina in reception volunteered to take me to A&E at the local hospital. Once there she acted as my interpreter & paid for a Tetanus shot & Antibiotics plus dressings etc. Totally above and beyond her role and on her own time as she had finished her shift. The food in Avocado restaurant which is attached to reception is really delicious, Beef Shank, Foie Gras, Veal Tongue 🤤 The Staff were really polite and helpful and the 7 in our group were delighted we had chosen the Plaza. I will definitely be returning here."
Hotel Leipzig
"Location is in no doubt the best when it comes to that hotel. The city center and its major tourist sights are easily accessible, we had a stunning view towards Bunardjika hill, which is also 5 min away on foot. One of the city's shopping malls is situated just in front of the hotel. Obviously the hotel was meant to stand out as a business hotel but its interior design leaves an impression of a place with questionable reputation. At first my husband and I received only one key and they firmly refused to provide a second one. We had to explain we have a small toddler who would be going to bed early with me, while my husband was attending a rock music featival and didn't want to bother us knocking at the door or phoning. After some more negotiating we finally received a spare key but still I find it weird that on a 4* hotel the key is only one per room and not per person. Breakfast is nothing special- three days in a row there was cold Bulgarian banitsa that tasted like last week's leftovers, and this didn't even change. Eggs and bacon were ok, some fresh fruit, average and cold pancakes and low quality jam in small hotel portions. Our room was not cleaned 3 days in a row although I asked the staff. We have a 2 year-old toddler having a strict daily routine including afternoon nap, so I regard it as normal thing to come and clean the room before noon while we are away. Eventually we ran out of toilet paper and we even had to through our own garbage. The reception stuff was very polite on the third evening when I asked her to provide some tissues but couldn't explain why this had happened. Most frustrating of all was our attempt to have dinner in one of the restaurants - L Garden. I had to wait 25 min. for a small plate of simple tomato, cucumber and pepper salad together with a nervous and hungry toddler. I could have understood if the place was super busy but we were the only clients together with another young couple. All on all I doubt if I would visit the same hotel again- the price is compatible with other 4* big names in the city center."
Este Park Hotel Plovdiv
"Très bon hôtel."
Philippopolis Hotel
"Everything as expected."
Bright House
"Nous n'avons eu que quelques heures pour explorer le centre-ville, donc nous avons choisi de rester à Bright House, qui était la meilleure décision. La location ne pouvait pas être meilleure - dans le district de Kapana avec beaucoup de restaurants, quelques minutes de la vieille ville, de la mosquée, de la rue de la piétonne et moins de 10 minutes du théâtre romain. Notre appartement était moderne et avait toutes les installations que nous pouvions avoir besoin et Dimitar était utile pour chaque question que nous avions."
Family Hotel at Renaissance Square
"Really lovely place - the personal touch of a hotel run by the proud owner. It's a few minutes walk from the Old Town, but also has easy access to all the nightlife fun of modern Plovdiv. The friendly host was always around to chat, give advice and make you a cup of coffee to drink on the hotel's terrace cafe - with locals also there, giving the stay an authentic feel. Staying here was the highlight of my trip to Plovdiv."
Boutique Hotel Boris Palace & Restaurant
"L'hôtel était magnifique avec marbre dans tout le monde et beaucoup de personnages. Il est situé au centre de la vieille ville dans un promenade facile de lieux d'intérêt et il est très calme. Les propriétaires étaient gentils et utiles et la nourriture était très bonne."
Old Legends

"Brand new lovely hotel. Very clean, good toiletries. Good size rooms. Bar was welcoming and had a good selection of beers. Breakfast was good. Bring your own tea bags though. The Brewery restaurant next door was very nice. Would recommend. There’s not that much nearby so we need a taxi into town."
Hotel Evmolpia
"Accueil personnalisé et sympa avec une petite bouteille de vin et un mini plateau de fromage, possibilité de café à volonté. La décoration à l'ancienne est réussie. Il est très bien situé, dans la vieille ville, mais près du reste du centre quand même. "
