Relais Colonna

If you are planning a trip to Rome and are looking for a charming and welcoming place to stay, look no further than Relais Colonna. This lovely hotel is run by the ultimate host, Gianluca, who truly goes above and beyond to make his guests feel at home. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Gianluca took the time to sit down with us and provide us with great recommendations for things to see. He was incredibly attentive throughout our stay, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms at Relais Colonna are tastefully decorated and very comfortable, with all the amenities you could want for a pleasant stay. But perhaps the best thing about Relais Colonna is its location. It is ideally situated in the heart of Rome, with easy access to all ofthe city's major attractions. The Relais Colonna is a lovely place to stay that is highly recommended for travelers who want to explore Rome's historic center and enjoy all the city has to offer. The owner, Gianluca, is a superstar who goes out of his way to make sure his guests are well taken care of. We will definetely come back!

Just back from a 3 night stay in Rome. We arrived at 11am on Saturday. It was a little difficult to find, however, once we got inside, we were perfectly happy. The room was spotlessly clean and fresh. Breakfast was a voucher for coffee and croissants across the road in the French Bistro. This was great. The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing. It really is central. On foot we were able to get ourselves to the Colosseum, the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, and much much more. When you are worn out, the spa bath was a real treat, bed was comfortable and even with the window open, we had a quiet peaceful nights sleep. Communication with the hotel was quick and any questions answered swiftly. I would highly recommend staying here for any Rome visit.

The Hotel is very well located, close to the best attractions in Rome. The hotel is super clean, quiet and cosy. Super polite and helpful staff. Delicious b'fast served at Salvatore di Matteo restaurant just opposite of the Hotel. Great stay. Grazie Gianluca!

We booked this hotel in Rome as part of our honeymoon. We were very excited as the pictures looked beautiful and the location seemed perfect. Upon showing up, there was no one there to let us in even though we were there within “open hours”. We had trouble finding the room and getting in contact with the host to “buzz” us in. Once we got in the room every wall was damaged with either holes or scratches (see photos) and the air conditioner was broken but repaired with a “quick fix” according to the host. It was just a switch on the wall with no temperature control and did not cool the room. We went in to the bathroom to find the toilet was also broken as the flush buttons barely worked. Inside the bathroom we also found mold in the shower and along the walls. The most exciting part of our stay was finally being able to leave this place. The host is very unfriendly and did not want to please his guests with the smallest questions like (my room does not have an iron). If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Rome there are definitely much better options out there.

ci è stato regalato un pacchetto spa in questo posto, dove non esiste un telefono per comunicare con la spa, dove dopo varie discussioni per poter prenotare ci confermano la prenotazione al 16 aprile. Arriviamo al desk dell’hotel e ci viene detto che la spa era chiusa!! viaggio a vuoto e tanta amarezza! nessuno con cui poter discutere del problema ! organizzazione schifosa non ci si comporta cosi!! non sanno lavorare e da quanto leggo lo stesso problema si verifica anche nello stesso hotel per i pernottamenti!! non ci andate!!!lasciate stare!

Abbiamo soggiornato due notti in questa struttura, l'inizio non è stato sicuramente dei migliori in quanto abbiamo trovato la camera in condizioni pessime: capelli e peli sulle lenzuola e sulle federe dei cuscini , tazzine macchiate con residui di caffè, ed altri segni di incuria. Per fortuna il proprietario si è mostrato cortese, ed ha prontamente risolto i problemi della camera e ha fornito un'adeguata compensazione in termini di scontistica sul prezzo precedentemente pattuito. La posizione della struttura è ottima quasi tutti i punti della città si raggiungono a piedi facilmente. In conclusione, buona la posizione ma tanto tanto da migliorare...
