Just back from a really relaxing week spent at the Souli Beach Hotel in Neo Chorio. The hotel is very quiet and relaxed with many of the holiday makers seemingly having stayed there many times before. There were very few young people or children staying when we were there with most of the visitors being of retirement age. I don't know whether this is the general make up of visitors throughout the year or due to the fact that children had gone back to school after the summer break before we got there. We chose the half board option and the menu was varied and food delicious. Being able to sit at a reserved table in the hotels beach side restaurant for meals was a real treat and every one of the hotel and restaurant staff staff was helpful and courteous. The harbour at Latchi is a ten to fifteen minute walk away and there is a bus which stops just outside the hotel which will take you into Polis or up to the Baths of Aphrodite. We booked a sea view room on the first floor. It was obviously not one of the refurbished rooms shown on the hotel's and jet2's web site and was a little tired and dated but met all of our needs. The wifi is excellent in all areas and although the tv has no English channels you can find some English language films to watch later in the evening if you want to watch some tv. I imagine the reason that the hotel only gets a two star rating is due to the fact that not all of the rooms have been refurbished but don't let this put you off. The bed was comfy and the room was cleaned every day and was spotless. We paid the €4.50 a day for the fridge to keep milk, beers and drinks cold and the €5 a day for the aircon. However it was only towards the end of the holiday when it became particularly humid that we found we needed it on during the night. Because our seaview room overlooking the pool and restaurant was in the shade all day it didn't get over bearingly hot and it was pleasant to sit out on the balcony. As we were only staying for a week we didn't hire a car but had we been staying for longer we definitely would have done. The pool area never seemed crowded but we chose to spend most days on the beach where sun beds and parasols can be hired for €2.50 per item. Its only a five minute walk away and generally cooler due to the sea breeze . You definitely need to wear rock shoes to get in and out of the sea as the beach consists of very course sand and shingle and the sea floor is covered with large boulders. The mini bus transfer, to and from the hotel took around 50 minutes and the pick up was on time. Regular texts and emails from jet2 kept us up to date with information throughout our stay. The jet2 rep visited on time to help with any queries. We were able to pay €30 to keep our room until we checked out in the evening which meant we could make the most of our last day. If you want a really quiet, relaxing, stress free, value for money break in a beautiful area of Cyprus then I would recommend a holiday at the Souli Beach

We really enjoyed our holiday here and did not come to Cyprus to moan and complain. The hotel is basic but a great base to enjoy the local area which has great restaurants and lovely beach. The pool is nice, the bed firm (which I like) the staff friendly and leave you alone (suited us) no frills, cheap holiday. We will return!

Hotel de tres haut niveau, avec une tres bonne qualité de service. Moderne, design et tres bien concu. Il est tres difficile de trouver des défauts, et quand on arrive a en trouver des petits, ils sont compensés par ailleurs. La salle de jeux pour enfants est grande. Il y a des heures ou on peut laisser l´enfant et d´autres heures on on peut jouer avec lui. Literie et oreiller de qualité. Pas de bruit dans la chambre. Plage privée avec transat, pouf et cabanes. Plusieurs restaurants organisés autour d´une agora avec un cinéma d´exterieur pour les enfants (Youtube / dessins animés). Large choix au petit dejeuner. 3 piscines extérieures dont une très grande. La terrasse extérieure du lobby offre une vue agreable pour le coucher de soleil.

Le salon est très heureux, mais le lit est confortable, bien que les feuilles soient très vieilles et qu'elles soient en forme de couleurs bizarres. La cuisine bien équipée avec four et four, aurait pu être faite avec une micro-ondes et un réfrigérateur plus moderne, mais à moins que vous ne vouliez cuisiner tout le temps qu'il ne importe vraiment pas. Le restaurant a été très bien accueilli, ami et utile, surtout dans le restaurant qui a une bonne sélection de nourriture à un prix raisonnable et de très bonne qualité.

We've had a great stay. Mini market, restaurant, lovely pools and spacious rooms at the hotel. Yes parts of it are dated but it's 30 degrees most of the year so this is likely to happen anywhere. We've only paid £40 a night for self catering so that's great for a 3 Star hotel. Some holiday sites are still saying its a 4 star but it's not. Location is 10 minutes away from the beach but a nice walk. The bus (615) stops outside the beach and takes you all the way to paphos where you can get another bus further if needed. It's only 5 euro for a day pass per person to go anywhere. I recommend getting the bus to Harbour Station and trying the food there which was outstanding. Please don't listen to some reviews on here as they are a bit over the top!
