Tropical Nites Holiday Townhouses

Mel and Andy had the lights on and the rooms cooling for our late arrival. They are very welcoming and helpful. Our 3 homes were placed all together which helped us on our family holiday. The rooms have everything you require. They are very spacious. The 2 outdoor sitting areas ground level and the upper balcony were wonderful. One of the homes we had was no. 12 which is a lovely room decor wise but looks at a brick wall and the accommodation next to it when on the balcony and the outdoor sitting area. The BBQ and swimming pool area were well equipped with cooking supplies and the pool had some toys for young and old. The location is perfect. It's not amongst the business but not to far either. The beach is easy to get too. We had a enjoyable stay. I would recommend Tropical Nites.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tropical Nites. We had a few nights at the Sheraton before coming here but my husband and I agreed this was the nicer stay (despite being less than half the price). He actually asked when we walked in: "I thought you said this was cheaper?" It's just a 5 minute drive into town (walking distance, but keep the heat/humidity in mind - having your own car is the best way to see the area anyway). Each apartment has a parking space with more parking available on the street. The apartments have everything you could need - cooking utensils, a few sachets for the laundry and dishwasher, even some candles in case of a blackout. The only thing I found odd is that there was no soap. We purchased our own from the Coles in town. The pool looks small until you get in and find it is long enough to do some laps. There is also an adjoining barbecue area, surrounded by tropical plants which give you the feeling of being secluded. Modern and renovated bathroom with a fan. Thoughtful inclusion having a power board on both sides of the bed. And there's a clothes horse if you do some washing. (If you're in wet season, don't put it outside. Our clothes simply didn't dry with the humidity). The hosts are lovely and responsive. We had an issue with our air conditioner when we arrived (it had just been serviced but appliances can be fickle). The owner offered us an immediate solution by unlocking the downstairs bedroom which had its own aircon and kept the kitchen/lounge/dining cool. It was serviced properly the next day when we were out snorkelling. For context: the townhouses have rooms locked off depending on what you book. We booked a 1 bedroom, so 2 bedrooms were locked. Highly recommend and would be happy to return again.

Nice, Clean and roomy place to live. Good vibes around the town house area. We were next to the pool so kids enjoyed so much. Since it was December second week, it is not as busy as end of December or peak April to June time so we had nice space and pool to ourselves sort of. They provided vacuum when we asked, just for ground floor tidy up as we stayed for 4 nights. Parking is bit weird design so you need to park front not reversed or else you can bump in to the pole that is set in between the bars but if you park nose in, then no problems. I couldn't find a work desk, as I was working on Friday so I suggest property should invest in a work desk and a work chair as many people work from home these days and some work during holidays too (Jobs or Business) etc so... But no complaint for it. Aircon were working fine, and we were able to sleep well, the mattress was nice too. Swimming pool was clean, however it had small pebbles so that does hurt when you land on it or scratch. Like skin can get pilled off easily due to their rough finish. It looks good but not safe. Again the pool surface is something you can live off by being careful I guess. so still 5 star.
