Je reviens d’un séjour au Vitor’s Plaza. On a adoré ! Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres, le personnel très accueillant. Dédicace spéciale au personnel du restaurant qui ont tous été adorables envers notre petite fille, et tout particulièrement Claudia, discrète et bienveillante. Nous étions en demi-pension. Le petit déjeuner était parfait (buffet) et le dîner délicieux. On s’est régalé ! Très bonne adresse que je recommande les yeux fermés !

Absolutely wonderful holiday! The hotel was clean and lovely and had everything we needed. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinners were delicious and such a fantastic range. We were recommended a Benigal Cave boat trip, and it was an incredible experience. We used the shuttle bus to the town and the beach, which was free and so easy to use with a very friendly driver. The room was clean and very comfortable, the pools were great, the shop had everything you needed, and the tennis, games room and crazy golf were all fun. It was my first trip abroad, just me and my 2 children, and we all had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back. Obligada!!

Our second stay at Vitors Plaza for 28 days this time. Set about a 40-minute walk from the centre, perhaps 30 minutes or less for younger ones or a 10 minute Uber ride for under 5 euros. Reception is a welcoming place, as are the receptionists, very helpful. The apartments are spacious (we had a one bedroom) large balcony and clean. The housekeepers are very friendly and always greet you with a smile. Our housekeepers remembered us from two years ago. The pool area is very good and there is an indoor pool. It's just a lovely place to stay.

This is the first time that I have recommended a hotel while still being on holiday to friends and family. We wanted a place to relax which was clean, well equipped and within walking distance to the beaches. The hotel ticked all these boxes and more. The staff in the bar are absolutely amazing and we were surprised by the quality of the food at the snack bar. The sea bass was the best I have ever eaten! There’s a small supermarket on site which is great for when you first arrive or a larger one about 15 minutes down the road. We are kicking ourselves that we only booked a 7 night holiday, could definitely stayed longer. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

We had an amazing time at this hotel after staying for a week, we emailed ahead of time to request 2 travel cots to our room as we have twins and if my in laws who were travelling from Lisbon to spend time with us for a few days could have a room near us they were given the room next to us which we were not expecting both requests were handled efficiently and made it much easier for us as a family Room was nice and spacious for my twins to wander around in and they enjoyed looking out the balcony the room was cleaned daily and fresh towels every 2 days the kitchen is basic but we didn’t do much cooking the microwave might need an upgrade as it was slow to heat things up The food was great we always had a selection to choose from for the evening meal and breakfast while it was the same each day didn’t bother us there was a nice selection to choose from, drinks are reasonably priced too We used the laundry facilities too and at €12 to use the washer and dryer I think this was reasonable Indoor pool was lovely and warm and great for the kids when it was raining it is on the small side so can get crowded but didn’t bother us and the outdoor pools are lovely we always managed to get a sunbed not sure what it would be like in peak season though The staff were so helpful and friendly they helped us get taxis when we had to go to hospital, we used the shuttle who had to do 2 trips for us as they only had 1 car seat maybe investing in 2 would be beneficial and Zélia the waitress was great was always helping us get highchairs and entertaining the twins

This hotel is very nice, everywhere is clean and tidy. Our apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed, room cleaned every day. Pool area clean and well maintained, it is fenced which is a great idea for child safety. Breakfast had a good choice, staff always helpful. There is a few local shops and cafe about 5/10 min walk. Alvor is €6/8 taxi away and Praia de Rocha €8 taxi, there is a courtesy bus twice per day into Praia. Would definetely recommend, think some of the other reviews are harsh and picky. My only negative is the overpriced bar.

Superb from start to finish We have just had a week at Vitors and cannot recommend it high enough The place is immaculate and we will definitely return . From the room , pools , bar , games room , mini market etc we had morning breakfast everyday and the choice was fantastic in the restaurant . Thank you Vitors Plaza for a lovely holiday

This was our first time going by on a self catering holiday as we normally go all inclusive. We had a great holiday. Apartments were spacious, clean and exactly what we needed. There is no oven but this didn’t bother us as we only needed it for breakfast and lunch as we ate out every evening. We loved the fact that the pool didn’t open until 9.30, no sun beds reserved at 5am. The pool was great, although it is quite deep in most places so would t be great for a non swimmer. Location meant that it was nice and peaceful but easy to get into Alvor/portimao via Uber/bolt. We got an uber into Alvor most evenings and cost about €4 each way. There are so many places to eat in Alvor and we didn’t have a bad meal. Churrasquiera Mercardo de Alvor, Alvor garden and namaste were some of our favourites. The bakery at the top of the road is definitely worth a visit and we got breakfast pastries, rolls and pastel de natas from here several times. For the rest of the shopping there are plenty of supermarkets near by. The beaches are beautiful and again easy to get to via Uber. There is also a bus that runs from the hotel to Praia da rocha. We didn’t get involved on many of the activities l, but did enjoy the quiz night and bingo. We would love to return to this hotel and highly recommend it.

A well-appointed and comfortable hotel with spacious air-conditioned rooms, excellent outdoor swimming pool. There is also an outdoor splash pool and indoor pool, though we didn't use either of these. Nor did we use the gym. The poolside bar is very comfortable, with lots of seats and places to relax. There is also a restaurant, though we didn't use that either, choosing to go out instead, or prepare our own meals as we were self-catering. There is a good supermarket (Intermarche Matachique) within walking distance (15 minutes), which is a good size and well stocked. The hotel, though, being midway between Alvor and Praia da Rocha, and Portimão needs you to be mindful of your Uber budget! Maybe remember to use the free shuttle bus service, which leaves the hotel for Portimão or beach at 10 am and 2.45pm.
