Very comfortable and suitable for our students to live

The Ibis Budget Hotel, is a very basic hotel as implies in the name. It's convenient for the accessing the Ferry, town centre by bus. Fratton station with trains to London is less than a10min walk. There is no fancy trimmings here. The room was small, but clean. Offered a continental breakfast. Located in walking distance from supermarket and fast food restaurants. The Bus 1 goes from Gunwharf Ferry to the Southsea Pier; but be careful. This bus changes to a Bus 3 at the Southsea Pier. It carries on another hour plus towards Southampton etc. All in all, the hotel offered my family a good rest after a long day out. The bottom double bed was very comfortable. Perhaps the bunk bit is not best suited to a teenager.

We stayed here for two nights to visit the historic dockyard before moving onto the Isle if Wight, we booked it through Booking dot com. We had a luxury room on the ground floor which had just been finished. First I'd like to mention the staff and service; from checking in to checking out the staff we interacted with were polite, very helpful and friendly, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Breakfast service was good with a wide selection to choose form, hot food is cooked to order so not particularly quick when busy but still far superior to a buffet style. Our room, Gracious, is on the ground floor at the front of the property, our initial concerns about road noise and being next to the hotel entrance were happily unfounded. The ensuite bathroom is huge, with a spa bath at one end and a double shower enclosure at the other. The bed is large, probably super king-size?, and comfortable, there is a small dressing table and wardrobe and a soft chair. Everything was spotlessly clean. We had no complaints at all but there a few things that management may want to consider going forward; there is a large flat screen smart tv mounted on the wall above the dressing table which makes it difficult to watch from the bed being at 90° to the wall. There was an issue getting a reliable service on the TV which staff tried to resolve during our stay; there was also an intermittent issue with the WiFi dropping in and out. We found the shower water pressure on the low side but forgot to mention this before we left. Location is good, 5 minute walk to the nearest restaraunts on Albert Road or a 10 minute bus ride into Portsmouths Gunwharf Quay, the bus stops right outside the hotel. We would definitely stay again

Quel horrible personne à la réception quand nous sommes arrivés tard du ferry. Rude, désinteressant, désobligeant, inconsidéré. Traitez-nous comme un inconvénient vraiment stupide. Malgré le fait que c'était une réservation à l'avance, notre arrivée ne devrait pas avoir été une nuisance surprenante pour elle. Ceci, surmonté par les systèmes financiers très complexes de l'hôtel, qui impliquent le prélèvement d'un lot d'argent de votre carte de crédit que vous ne devez pas et le remboursement seulement lorsque vous quittez, nous ferons en sorte que nous ne nous mettrons jamais à nouveau dans un Marriott. Et, chers lecteurs, si vous ne voulez pas vous joindre à leur Bonvoi (qui est, je suppose, une abréviation de marketing pour Bon Voyage aka happy times ha ha) vous devez payer 12 £ pour obtenir le WiFi. En fait, beaucoup de personnel étaient vraiment doux, quel honte ils ont à partager un examen avec ce terrible récepteur. Ce commentaire ne changera rien à rien, mais ça me fait sentir mieux et j'espère qu'il encouragera les gens à regarder ailleurs.

Mis-Sold Nous avons fait une réservation en janvier 2022, ce qui incluait un parking gratuit et un petit-déjeuner chaud composé de bacon, sauce, œufs cramés et fécules comme nous l'avons toujours connu lors de nombreuses visites à cet hôtel depuis son ouverture. Le parking est géré par votre parking et peut être réservé à l'avance pour 3 £ par nuit, mais le Holiday Inn Express est payé pour 5 £ par nuit à l'arrivée. On nous a dit que l'hôtel avait vendu le parking à votre parking qui annonce par ailleurs qu'ils gèrent des parkings pour des hôtels comme Holiday Inns et ne les possèdent pas. Ce n'est pas ce que nous avons réservé et payé en janvier 2022 Nous n'avons pas été informés de la taxe de stationnement à l'avance et nous n'avons pas été informés qu'il n'y avait plus de petit déjeuner chaud disponible que nous n'avons découvert que le matin de notre petit déjeuner et quand Le personnel a été informé qu'il s'agissait d'un essai de ne pas servir de petit déjeuner chaud. Le petit déjeuner offert était un style de buffet composé de pain et de jam, de croissants de céréales froids et de mini-muffins, de jus d'orange, de thé et de café et de fruits frais, mais les oranges étaient ruinés et ils ont dit cela à des personnes qui les ont retirés et ont apporté quelques Plus. Vous ne pouvez pas faire un procès sur un client qui a déjà réservé et payé des mois d'avance pour parking gratuit et un petit-déjeuner chaud et décidez ensuite que vous allez payer pour parking et aucun petit-déjeuner chaud servi sans informer l'invité à l'avance leur permettant de Faites le choix d'annuler et de réserver un autre hôtel que nous aurions fait en raison de la choix et nous ne serons pas à Holiday Inn Express si c'est ainsi qu'ils traitent les clients payants. Nous ne recommanderons pas cet hôtel jusqu'à ce qu'ils réinstaurent le petit déjeuner chaud et arrêtent de payer pour le parking nous regarderons ailleurs. Le petit déjeuner chaud est annoncé sur le site ou pas test ou non! S'il vous plaît nous envoyer une réponse authentique non une copie et paste générés

Very conveniently positioned, a short walk away from the beach and the esplanade, but better value than the hotels on the seafront. Checking in was a quick and simple process, and the room was pleasant and clean, however, the decoration does require some TLC, including a paper sign that was torn and half off the wall where it was originally attached. A minor issue, but replacing it would take minutes, and it would immediately give a better first impression. The sink was in the room (not in the bathroom) but it was making the best use of the space available, Breakfast was fresh and served quickly, with unlimited self-service cereal, juice, and tea/coffee available. I would not hesitate in staying here again.
