Days Inn by Wyndham Pottstown

Room stunk previous guests left food in room. Markings on the wall broken items. Wasn't satisfied in the room with the price being charged. One elevator was broke. Elevator that is in use sometimes doesn't work. Guests above us were loud had to call front desk multiple times

The staff is terrible they don’t really clean the room I stayed in room 303 and the room was not clean they bathroom shower was dirty they lock to my door was broken and when i tried to report my problem to the staff they would not help when I wanted a refund they called the cops on me

Rude and uncaring. Besides being charged twice for the room due to a computer error, the hot water was non existent , the elevators were crappy and felt unsafe, the locks on the doors were janky and the perimeter of the hotel and rooms were unkempt (ie. Wallpaper and wood peeling). Never again! The manager was of no help during this whole process and refused to follow up.

The door to our room didn’t work. It was broken. To get in you had to body slam it only to find that you couldn’t shut it when you go in. Looking at the door it was missing the latch on the door jam. When I asked to switch rooms they told me no because it was booked and that they would fix it. They never came down so we decided it was unsafe and we wanted to leave. When we went back out front to get a refund we were met with arguments and them telling us the door worked and that it was safe. The owner couldn’t even open or close the door without body slamming it. They first refused to refund me saying that they had more rooms (even though they were booked up) and we kept saying no. They finally refunded me for the second night and we just left.

While I would like to have given a more positive review due to the kindness of the staff, I am extremely disappointed in the management who refused to acknowledge the bedbug issue. I was bitten by a bedbug in the early morning of October 5, 2024, shortly after getting into bed, SAW the bedbug on the pillow once I jumped out of bed, and ended up at the registration desk in my PJs at 1:00 am showing the person at the desk the bites on my arms and requesting a room transfer (which they accommodated). Bedbugs are easily identified. Unfortunately, in my panic to get out of the room, I failed to take a picture of the bedbug. When I informed the management after my stay, their only response was that they didn't find a bedbug in the room. I expected better treatment and at least some sort of compensation since the whole event also affected my sleep the following night (I was so worried about being bitten in the second room, which thankfully didn't happen) and therefore my energy for the next day's events. In addition to all of the above, I was terrified that I would end up bringing bedbugs back to my home.

Smelled like pot and bad meat. Staff was mostly absent from the front desk, Breakfast was worth skipping. I rarely give a bad review, but here it is. Poor elevators (only 1 worked) . We were all there for a wedding and it was just not nice. Price was fine but it ended there,
