Clean & Comfortable Beds. The rooms were tidy, and the beds were very comfortable. Strong Shower Pressure – A highlight after long days out! Friendly Gestures – Small amenities were appreciated when requested. Tasty Breakfast– The light options (cereal, fruit salad) were fresh and enjoyable. 24 hour coffee machine and teas. Broken Heater – Our unit was snapped in half but left attached to the wall (unusable and unsafe). Chronic Towel Shortages – Every day, we faced missing or no towels. Once, my husband had to wait dripping wet while staff attended to others—I eventually took towels myself. Unacceptable for a paid stay. Overpriced Breakfas – Charged R150pp for cereal/fruit (no hot options) felt unfair. Lumpy Pillows cheap The potential is there—sweet staff, clean rooms—but poor maintenance (heater!) and repeated towel issues ruined the value. For the price, we expected professionalism, not DIY problem-solving. Fix these basics, and it could be lovely!

The bed was broken. Service was bad. I left after night 1. It was my worst experience ever. I will never come back. I will also tell friends and acquintancies about my experience

This is a well priced, excellent guest house with all the necessary amenities. A temporary home away from home. Free and unrestricted movement, discretion and conveniently located close to shops, convenience stores and restaurants in the Hazelwood entertainment precinct. Check in times are also very convenient for business and those arriving late especially

I had a pleasant stay at the guesthouse. The place was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location felt safe and convenient. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. There were a couple of minor issues — towels were not provided on the second day, and the hot water in the bathtub appeared slightly discoloured. However, these did not significantly impact my experience. Overall, it's a great place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it.

Hotel should be renewed from A to Z. Service for breakfast is taking long time. It should be open buffet. Bathroom is terrible. Drawers and wardrobe are extremely old. Some drawers do not have handles. The room is extremely small, movement is limited. I would not choose to stay here again and do not recommend it to anyone.

We had a good time and stay at Waterkloof Guesthouse. Great condition of property and rooms. Breakfasts included were great. Coffee available at all times a plus. TV channel availability could have been better. Laundry service was very good. Will stay here again next time.

Guesthouse needs up dating. Old bathrooms, our roof leaked, rooms smelt musty. Furnishings dated and rooms dark. Outside lighting terrible.

Very clean, excellent customer service and good meals. It was worth it, I would love to stay there again and again - do not waste time, book a week away at Waterkloof - kuhle, kumnandi nokudla ku right.
