Had a great experience at club mahindra Puducherry!!! I would like to give a special mention to Mr Shahjahan to accommodate my family and friends family and check in experience was awesome. Overall the facilities look great, it feels like a forest, beach and a pool with great food. One last piece of advice is travel desk should be out in the open for enquiries about activities in Puducherry.

My Club Mahindra Puducherry Experience: A Holiday Turned Horrible (26th – 29th October 2025) I rarely write negative reviews, but this one needs to be heard. I’ve stayed at several resorts and always believed hospitality is about care, not luxury. Sadly, at Club Mahindra Puducherry, that belief was broken. It started well. A tilak at check-in gave a sense of warmth. But that was the only moment that felt welcoming. From there, it was a downward spiral. A series of lapses no guest should ever face. 1. The Welcome That Wasn’t We were asked to sit at a dirty table in the lobby, someone else’s half-used welcome drink glass still there. While other guests were offered welcome drinks, we were simply told to be seated till the room was ready. No courtesy. No basic cleanliness. No care. Ten minutes later, my wife, my son, and I were guided to the room. We requested a buggy for my dad, to drop him at the room comfortably, he being 83 and an asthma patient. Out of curiosity, not entitlement, I politely asked the staff why we weren’t offered a welcome drink. Not because we wanted one, but because it reflected a lack of basic attention and consistency in guest treatment. They apologized and promised to send it to the room, but the damage was already done. That first impression set the tone for what was to follow. 2. Ignored Requests & Repeated Delays That evening, around 7:05 PM well before dinner service we called the reception requesting a buggy to pick up my father from the room and drop him at the restaurant. As the dinner was about to begins at 7:30 PM we called in advance to ensure he reached on time. We waited. Twenty-five minutes passed, there was no buggy. When I called again to follow up, the person at the reception nonchalantly asked, “Are there any senior citizens in the room?” Honestly, what kind of question is that? Hadn’t we already filled out the guest details form that clearly mentioned ages? Shouldn’t that information be on record? My father, a senior citizen, was eagerly waiting outside the room for the buggy while the rest of us; my wife, son, and I sat waiting at the restaurant. The buggy finally arrived around 7:50 PM nearly 45 minutes after our first call. This wasn’t just a delay, it’s a complete lapse in basic coordination, communication, and guest care. A resort that claims to offer “world-class hospitality” shouldn’t need reminders to treat senior citizens with dignity and efficiency. 3. The “Water” That Could Have Been Fatal That night, during dinner, we were served with water from a refilled glass bottle, and not from a sealed bottle. We knew from the start that the resort does not provide sealed bottled water anywhere, not in the restaurant, not even in the rooms. My wife took a sip and immediately spat it out onto her plate of food. Alarmed, we inspected the bottle and were shocked to find visible sediment and residue settled at the bottom. Good ambience, good food, good activities in happy hub, recommended anyone visiting Puducheri. One of the resorts with direct beach access, less crowded beaches, good view of sunrise if no clouds. Spacious rooms, well maintenance resort overall.

We had a lovely time and the stay was super comfortable. The food was delicious. The room is super spacious and the bed is so comfortable Special mention to Kavita from housekeeping and Anuradha from the reception to make our stay amazing and helping us.

Good vibe with my friend and the service is very good and friendly with everyone and room and also the place was awesome ….. ambiance was awesome and the play area was really good and fun with my friend and they conducted a program its so enjoyable
