Servatur Eden & Buganvillas

On arrival every thing seemed okay. Lovely room and amazing views. After one night realised there was no air con. 2nd day decided to try out the bar .... what a disappointment (done loads of all inclusive holidays in the canaries) was so shocked to see only 2 alcoholic cocktails that tasted nasty. Our favourite has always been a pina colada but at this hotel it wasn't included in all inclusive you have to pay £4.75 even tho non all inclusive have to pay only €6 so considering we paid over 3 grand we had very limited choice. I will though the food was really nice and waiting staff were amazing especially oliver who always had a smile on his face and was so polite. The cleaning of the rooms was very minimal. We were there for 15 nights and they only changed the sheets once in that time. The reception staff were really good but doubt we will return

Brilliant staff so friendly couldn't do enough for you, when they started their shift they would greet everyone with a smile and a wave, same when they left. The food,where to start excellent choice very tasty and cooked fresh best we have ever had in all inclusive and we have been to loads, drinks were fine and although it stated only 2 drinks per person the staff didn't seem to bother when people asked for 3 or 4 at a time, sunloungers were a bit close together but the have a nice adults only solarium upstairs which is great, had a great time and will definitely go back

Our first visit to Eden and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We asked for a quiet high floor room which we were given and it was a lovely large modern apartment with beautiful views from our balcony. The location was good for getting to the Europa centre and a free shuttle to Amadores beach and back ( absolutely gorgeous) the food was very good, lots of choice and all of a high quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had no issues getting sunbeds anytime of day and tended to go on the rooftop with amazing views. We never encountered any noise at night. The drinks were typical all inclusive with only 2 alcoholic cocktails but this was not an issue. The grounds are stunning and spotless with only the odd cockroach and none in the room. We will definitely be coming back and can see why there were so many return visitors there who we got chatting to. Highly recommended

We have just come back from our first holiday abroad with the kids (6 and 13). I had booked it about 8 weeks before due to budget and the good reviews. I was so excited for the kids then after reading a few more reviews some seeds of worry and doubt crept in. I shouldn't of listened. Yes the rooms are basic and not all shiny and new but they are clean and have what you need. Our beds all had mattress toppers so were comfy. Bedding was changed a few times, clean towels when you needed them, floors mopped etc. We had a swim up room which was bliss. The kids loved both the main pool and our swim up (swim up is a little cooler than the main pool so we used to use it in the afternoon before having showers ready for dinner). The staff were all friendly, attentive and were lovely with kids. They worked really hard to keep the dining area clean. Entertainment on the whole was good, we had a magic show, a singer, a motown group and Spanish dancers while we were there with a quiz night and karaoke too. There isn't a huge amount of kids entertainment but they put on some random bits. Some games and did aome tattoos. THe entertainment staff did try and get people involved. Bingo is everyday too which we had a few goes at. Food...well we had no complaints, breakfast with all the usual English items, continental, waffles, pancakes, cereal. Lunch and dinner were varied with the usual bit if continuity of chips, pizza pasta etc. Everything was tasty, hot and constantly topped up. Puddings were to die for, little patisseries, cake, chocolate fountain, ice cream machine, sweets, fresh fruit. My teenager certainly got the money's worth of all inclusive. There was English breakfast tea, coffee, juice, filtered water, slushies, 3 cocktails for all inclusive, beer, sangria, spirits, coca cola, Fanta, sprite. You couldn't want for anything. My partner can be sensitive to food abroad but we enjoyed every single meal we had. The hotel is at the top of the mountains but taxis are cheap, you can walk to the nearby europa shopping centre, was OK there, we got some nick nacks for home but if we'd had a bit more time we would of visited the bigger Mogan or Commercial centres. The free beach bus was great, goes to and throw the beach at 3 times of day and we used it twice. For a morning at the beach itself and then to walk along the coastal path to Puerto Rico and get the blue bird boat to Mogan. For us (and as I said I was worried seeing some reviews) this was the perfect first holiday for us as a family. Great on the budget, food, staff, facilities etc. Would definitely come back, missing it already. I can be pretty picky, especially with cleanliness but I couldn't really fault it. Good things to know....taxis about €5/6 to Puerto Rico or €3/4 to the local beach area. Free courtesy bus everyday, 3x a day. Safe for the room €20 but with €10 back at the end. Beach Towel hire €10. We stayed for a week in the adult only side All Inclusive, it was hilarious to see older people getting up early to put towels on sun loungers, even though there were plenty, the sun loungers were comfortable. The pool is salt water and there is a snack bar, but even though we were AI you could only have local drinks! The area is cleaned regularly as were our rooms. The room was okay, although there was no AC in the bedroom which was odd. The shower was powerful and hot, even though we were only there a week our towels were changed on 3 occasions. As others have said the food area is located on the side open to all, and although the food hall was clean, and the staff removed the used plates as soon as you finished it could be a challenge getting a table. The food was good if not a tad repetitive, we ended up eating out of an evening. The location is out of the way, and walking to the beach was a challenge, they do have a free shuttle service you can use. The shopping centre opposite the apartments was noisy at night as were the pissed residents so bring some ear plugs, the walls aren’t that thick!

It’s important to understand before you book that this complex is in 2 halves. Eden side is mostly families all inclusive the bougainvillea side is adults only, much smaller quieter with separate pool and pool bar area. Access is gained via key entry gates. The main dining area is accessible for both in the Eden side we paid as we chose and can agree with other comments that the food is excellent for buffet style. Always fresh hot and tasty . The staff noticeably take pride in their service and work hard with a smile. The apartments are basic but clean and we found the beds comfy not hard and I’m choosy to satisfy where sleep is concerned. Although the complex is bang opposite the euro centre we didn’t hear any noise nor witness any anti social activities in the area. The euro centre offers a wide selection of bars and restaurants which were all very good to be fair. We enjoyed the peace of the adults only and would have struggled as a couple to be in the Eden AI side as it was very noisy and crowded. I would definitely stay here again.
